"Quite obvious"— Love is Blind UK fans react to Ollie's ADHD reveal

Love is Blind UK dropped five new episodes on Netflix this week on August 14, 2024. The latest batch of episodes saw the cast move on to the next stage of the social experiment and live under one roof. In episode 7, Demi and Ollie shared an apartment and got to know each other more.

One more while Ollie was getting his fiancée a glass of water, she noticed certain mannerisms, such as his "pacing" and impulsive nature. The two spoke about these observations and the male cast member revealed that he had Attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, commonly known as ADHD.

Demi assured Ollie that he had nothing to be ashamed of and praised his proposal by noting he was articulate with his words. He thanked her for understanding him and being patient with him.

Fans of the Netflix show took to social media to react to Ollie opening up about ADHD and were glad to see such important conversations taking place. They also noted there were some obvious cues about his diagnosis. One person wrote on X:

Love is Blind UK fans praised Demi for being "attentive and nurturing":

"You know I figured Ollie had ADHD or was somewhat on the spectrum because the way he reacted was giving sensory overload. I’m glad he has Demi though, he needs someone chill like that. #LoveIsBlindUK," a fan commented.

Ollie opens up to Demi about having ADHD in Love is Blind UK episode 7

In Love is Blind UK season 1 episode 7, Demi and Ollie had a conversation about themselves when Demi brought up some of Ollie's behaviors she had noticed, such as impatience, impulsiveness, and pacing.

"I think it's mad the kind of things you notice about me," Ollie said.

The Love is Blind UK star opened up about stressing over "the little things" and said that he normally didn't admit to people that he had ADHD. He told Demi she was one of three people outside of his family who knew.

Recalling telling his ex-girlfriend about it, Ollie said he only told her because he felt bad since she felt he was "shutting her out all that time." In a confessional, the Love is Blind UK participant elaborated on the condition, stating it could "manifest itself in different ways."

Ollie added that severity could vary for individuals and that his ADHD was "really severe." The cast member added it was something he had struggled with all his life."

Love is Blind UK fans chimed in on the interaction online and praised the cast member for opening up about his struggles. They further praised Demi for being "nurturing" towards him.
