The Voice season 26 reached the second part of its Blind Auditions, where the four esteemed coaches- Snoop Dog, Reba McEntire, Gwen Stefani, and Michael Bublé looked to add strong contestants to their respective teams.

Much like the first audition, the second episode was packed with power. In the episode, fans saw Snoop using his only Coach Replay Button to pick Gail Bliss, a 61-year-old country singer. The episode also saw all four mentors turning their chairs for Tanner Frick, a 26-year-old ambitious performer.

Coming from a tough background, Tanner impressed the audience and the judges and had them battling to be his mentor. He eventually ended up deciding on Reba McEntire. Fans of The Voice have flocked to X to compliment Tanner's performance and his talent:

"Tanner is ready for country radio," one fan wrote.
"Tanner is the first person of episode two that actually sounds good. I was beginning to worry," another fan wrote.
"Tanner Frick dad bout 2 make me cry. His voice was so present as he started, telling the story, very relaxed wit a bit of edge. I liked his vibrato landing in the middle of his notes (instead of on the end). Interesting, different. This was nice, uplifting," a comment read.
"All four chairs!! Tanner!! Tanner!!!" read another comment.

The Voice fans loved Tanner's performance and began rooting for him. Some were even grateful that he joined Reba's team.

"So happy Tanner picked #reba," an X user said.

Tanner Frick's Blind Audition performance on The Voice season 26 episode 2

Tanner Frick was accompanied by his father to the Blind Auditions Part 2 in The Voice season 26 episode 2, which aired on Monday. His father's presence made his performance even more emotional as they are very close.

He delighted one and all with his rendition of Morgan Wallace's song, Thought You Should Know. He chose Wallace as he had started his journey on season 6 of The Voice which aired in 2014, and then went on to become a big name in country music.

Reba was the last to turn her chair amongst the four coaches, yet her genre match with the country singer made her bag him. All the other coaches praised his performance too.

Gwen Stefani called his voice "calm," and said he sang in a "pretty way". She even said she was desperate to have him on her team and even mentioned her country singer husband and former The Voice coach, Blake Shelton, in an attempt to convince Frick. However, the talented singer saw Reba as his true fit because of her prowess in country singing and chose to join her team.

New episodes of The Voice season 26 come out on Mondays, at 8 pm ET, on NBC. Fans wanting more instant updates can also follow the show's official Instagram handle @nbcthevoice.
