Season 7 of Jersey Shore: Family Vacation reached episode 25 on October 31. The episode, titled The Feast of Peace, documented the cast consoling Snooki because she lost her grandmother. It was titled so because Jenni hosted an actual peace feast for people like Angelina and Snooki to resolve their fights.

The episode witnessed Jenni opening up about her mother's mental condition for the first time. In a conversation with Bunnie from The Dumb Blonde Podcast, Jenni revealed that she had a rough childhood and that was because her mother had schizophrenia.

She added that the death of her grandmother left her and her dad alone and fending for themselves. Bunnie empathized with her because her mother had the condition too. Later in the episode, the cast comforted Jenni. Fans of Jersey Shore: Family Vacation also took to X to empathize with Jenni.

"The convo between Jenni & Bunnie was really touching, we all love you @JENNIWOWW," said one fan.
"I love how Jenni opened up about her mom, her mom’s mental illness, and how she was raised by her dad. I love how Nicole is sharing her adoption journey. Both ladies are being vulnerable and real which connects with the audience of #jsfamilyvacation," another fan said.
"I wonder if Jenni has a relationship with her mom now, especially with having the resources to understand her mother's condition," a third fan said.
"Jenni you're so strong. You're so down to earth and so sweet and just have a beautiful heart," another wrote.

Some fans of Jersey Shore: Family Vacation felt like Jenni's behavior made more sense after the reveal because they could piece them through what happened in her childhood.

"Jenni does have an interesting story. I feel like she gravitates towards friendships where she can take on a motherly role as well. which explains the clashings with Sam and Ang imo," an X user wrote.
"I appreciate Jenni's vulnerability, and it really speaks to her introduction to reality TV," another user wrote.
"Poor Jenni her life growing up was so rough. She really was forced to grow up and fend for herself," another fan wrote.
"@JENNIWOWW all I’ll say is NO judgement here!!! We LOVE you Jenni!!!!" another fan said.

Jenni opens up about her childhood on Jersey Shore: Family Vacation season 7 episode 25

While talking to Bunnie for an episode of her Dumb Blonde podcast, Jenni was asked to talk about her mom on Jersey Shore: Family Vacation episode 25. Jenni said that it was hard for her to talk about her mom even as she was nearing her 40s because she was embarrassed about how she was raised.

She said her parents had her when they were 20 and a couple of years later her mom was diagnosed with Schizophrenia. She said she didn't talk about it because her mom was still here and she didn't want people to define her by her illness.

She added that when she was 4 or 5 years old, she lost her grandmother to a car accident. Since then, she said, her dad and she were left to fend for themselves. She stressed the importance of a mother in childhood, saying one needed female energy while growing up. Later in the episode, she told the other cast members about her chat with Bunnie and they comforted her as well.
