Teddi Mellencamp, a former star of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, has shared her perspective on her separation from husband Edwin Arroyave. The reality star revealed via Instagram on November 24 that she has taken accountability for her actions amid their split, acknowledging her role in the challenges of their 13-year marriage.

In her post, Mellencamp addressed the emotional toll of the separation.

"I have cried and mourned. I have taken accountability and apologized for things I have done wrong," she shared in a caption accompanying a video of her working out.
"Now, I have given myself permission to grow and thrive." Mellencamp emphasized the importance of self-reliance, adding, "The only person who can change your life is you. We have 2 options, pretend to be a victim or stand up and fight for yourself. We all deserve peace and happiness."

The announcement of Teddi Mellencamp's divorce followed revelations about an alleged affair with her married horse trainer, Simon Schroeder. Page Six said that Mellencamp's extramarital relationship began in May and became a key factor in her decision to end her marriage. Schroeder's ex-wife, Karli Postel, was also identified in connection to the allegations.

Despite the public scrutiny, Teddi Mellencamp stated she would not engage in media speculation.

"I have decided to not pander to the media and tell my side because in the big scheme of things [clickbait] means nothing," she explained.

Instead, she focused on showing up for those who matter in her life, adding, "This is what saying it with my full chest means."

The split has also highlighted past issues in Arroyave's life. Reports surfaced about his alleged affair in 2015 with a woman named Missy, which sources claim lasted between six months to a year.

On social media, Edwin Arroyave shared his methods of coping with the divorce, emphasizing healthy habits and personal growth. He posted a selfie from a yoga studio and noted that "rituals & habits" help maintain balance during challenging times.

"t's when you're under pressure that your true character is revealed," he wrote.

Teddi Mellencamp officially filed for divorce on November 1, citing irreconcilable differences. Initially requesting primary custody of their three children — Slate (12), Cruz (10), and Dove (4) — Mellencamp later amended her request to joint physical and legal custody. She has maintained that their wellbeing remains her priority.

In her Instagram statement on November 2, Teddi Mellencamp expressed her commitment to protecting her children from unnecessary speculation.

"Making a public statement is not something I wanted to do, but in an effort to protect my family from undue speculation and rumors, I felt being open, honest, and vulnerable was the best path forward," she wrote.

Teddi Mellencamp remains active in her professional endeavors, including her popular podcast Two Ts in a Pod, where she frequently discusses reality TV and her personal experiences. The podcast has been well-received by fans for its candid commentary and behind-the-scenes insights.

She also continues to run her fitness accountability program, All In by Teddi, which focuses on helping clients achieve their health goals through personalized coaching and structured plans.

Meanwhile, Edwin Arroyave continues to lead Skyline Security Management as its CEO. The company, one of the largest authorized dealers of Brinks Home Security, has been a major focus of his career.

Arroyave has also hinted at exploring personal development initiatives, and sharing motivational posts on social media about resilience, healthy habits, and self-improvement.
