RHONY star Jessel Taank lists cosmetic surgeries she has done in response to Brynn Whitfield's "different face" jab

Jessel Taank, the star of Real Housewives of New York City (RHONY), recently opened up about the cosmetic procedures she has undergone. This was in response to her co-star, Brynn Whitfield's pointed comment about her appearance in a recent episode.

In the January 7 RHONY episode, Whitfield accused Taank of debuting a "different face" and "different teeth."

"I mean, old Jessel had a different face and different teeth. I use more chill. She's more chill. Sorry I said it. It's the truth. It feels like everything is a 4 for photo op moment Yeah or to be seen. That's how I feel. Brynn has a point Sometimes the glam is out of place," Whitfield said.

Whitfield's comments about Taank's changing appearance became a topic of conversation among RHONY fans after the episode aired. The 39-year-old claimed that Taank had altered her looks for the camera, sparking a response from the fashion publicist, who has been open about her cosmetic enhancements for years.

In response, Taank, 41, discussed her use of Botox, fillers, and porcelain veneers in a January 13, 2025, interview on Page Six's Virtual Reali-Tea. She admitted that seeing herself on television led her to reevaluate her appearance and make some adjustments.

"It just so happens that when you watch yourself on television, you notice everything. So I was like, 'You know what? I’m just going to tweak a couple of things.' Also, like, who doesn’t get Botox? Who doesn’t get a little filler here and there?" Taank said during her interview.

Jessel Taank's candidness about her cosmetic procedures comes as part of her larger philosophy on transparency. She noted that she has been using Botox since she was 26 years old and emphasized how it has positively impacted her appearance.

"I’ve gotten Botox since I was 26. It is a game changer. I'm not a gatekeeper and I'm certainly not the type of person to be doing all these procedures and not talking about it," she explained.

Jessel Taank added that she frequently discusses her cosmetic treatments on social media to avoid creating any misconceptions.

While Botox and fillers have been part of her routine, Taank also opened up about her porcelain veneers, which were placed by celebrity cosmetic dentist Dr. Victoria Veytsman. Dr. Veytsman has worked with numerous celebrities, including Liza Koshy, Jaime King, and RHONY's Luann de Lesseps. Jessel Taank's decision to get veneers was inspired by a childhood accident that affected her smile.

"When I was a kid, I was running by a swimming pool on vacation and I slipped. I slammed my mouth on the concrete and so I actually had to get cosmetic resurfacing or reconstruction [on my teeth] or whatever," Taank recalled.

Despite her openness about her appearance, Taank was taken aback by Brynn Whitfield's comment, believing it was an unnecessary jab at her personal choices. She expressed that the remark made her feel as though Whitfield was trying to paint her as "vain," a trait Taank does not shy away from.

In addition to discussing her cosmetic work, Jessel Taank revealed the strain that the comments had placed on her friendship with Brynn Whitfield. She admitted that their relationship had suffered as a result of the remarks.
