What happened between Annie and Swanky on Young, Famous & African season 3 episode 3?
In Young, Famous & African episode 3, at Kayleigh's party, Swanky confronts Annie for talking behind his back. The conversation started with Swanky asking Annie if there was an unresolved issue between them that they needed to address.
He stated that Fantana had told him Annie was speaking ill of him to others. Reflecting on their arguments from the previous season, Swanky concluded they were past their clashes.
He insisted that the matter had already been resolved after Annie apologized so why was it being brought up again? The Young, Famous & African cast member continued:
"Annie, I have no problem with you. It seems like you have a problem with me. You're not speaking about it."
Soon after this interaction, Annie and Swanky's conversation escalated into a verbal fight. Kayleigh tried to intervene and attempted to change the topic but Annie questioned Swanky's intentions behind his actions. She asked for proof and mentioned that her children were doubting her character because of this dispute. Annie said:
"You're making me have to explain to my child about my personality because she said Uncle Swanky said the only reason why he's not playing these voice notes is because of Olivia and I."
During her confessional interview, the Young, Famous & African star called Swanky a liar, she said:
"Swanky lied to the world about a voice note that does not exist. It made my kid doubt my character."
As Swanky walked out with Zari, she asked him about the voice note that Annie kept mentioning. He then explained that he accidentally overheard Annie's conversation with her manager while on the phonecall, and claimed that he heard her say some "nasty things".
Later in the episode, the verbal fight continued as Zari became a part of the argument as well. Episode 4 further focuses on the clashes between these three cast members.
