"Rough week for Jojo" — Big Brother fans react to Leah friendzoning Joseph

Big Brother season 26 released its latest episode on Wednesday, September 4, 2024. In the previous episode, the Head of Household (HoH) Quinn nominated Angela, Kimo, and Rubina for the upcoming elimination. With their positions threatened in the house, they tried to forge alliances and seek assistance from their closest connections.

In the latest episode, after outperforming five other houseguests, Leah won the Power of Veto (PoV), a power that she could choose to use to take someone off the block. She used the power to save Angela, while Quinn was compelled to nominate Joseph as Angela's replacement.

With a place on the block, Joseph was not having the best time in the house. Before his nomination, Joseph told Leah that he deeply cared about her. Later, in the Diary Room, he confessed he had a crush on her and was convinced the feelings were mutual. However, Leah claimed their relationship was more "platonic" than anything else.

Big Brother fans took to X to react to Joseph's situation. While some sympathized with the cast member for getting friend zoned, others wondered what made him think Leah felt the same way about him.

Big Brother season 26 star Joseph thinks he has a "chill" relationship with Leah

Joseph attempted to have a heart-to-heart conversation with Leah in one episode segment. He hinted at his feelings for her but was not too explicit. He said:

"Dude, you and me just chill. Everybody else, not chill."

While Leah took his comment in a friendly way, Joseph attached a deeper meaning to it. He expressed his feelings for Leah before the cameras in the Big Brother Diary Room. The cast member said it was natural for him to "have a crush on Leah." He wondered who would not.

He went ahead and stated that he wanted to be with her "like all the time" since he cared for her.
