"Rude gaslighter"— Love Island USA fans criticize Aaron for lying for Kaylor

Love Island USA season 6 aired a brand new episode on Monday, July 8, 2024. During the segment, the cast played a social media-related game in which they read out tweets made about cast members and had to guess who they were about.

One card noted that they felt so bad for Kaylor because they didn't show the worst of what happened between Daniela and Aaron while in Casa Amor. The cast questioned Daniela about what it was about, and she said the latter made a comment about them showering together.

Later in the episode, after discussing the situation with Daniele, Kaylor confronted Aaron about the same, and the two got into a screaming match. Watching how the conversation played out, fans criticized Aaron online. One person wrote on X:

"Quit playing victim": Kaylor slams Aaron in Love Island USA season 6

After talking to Daniela about what happened between her and Aaron during Casa Amor, Love Island USA season 6 islander Kaylor confronted the latter about it.

Kaylor asked him if he asked Daniela to shower with him, and Aaron noted it was a joke. When Kaylor began raising her voice, he said, "Let's not shout," and Kaylor told him not to tell her what to do. She said she felt stupid, "manipulated," and "lied to."

"We were literally talking about us in the shower, I was asking her "Oh, what went on?" like, "What have you seen?" and she went, "Oh, we saw you guys in the shower." And I was just like — this was in a group setting as well — and we were like, "Oh what happened in the shower?" and she was like, "Oh it looked like you guys got it on" and whatever," Aaron said.

Aaron added,

"And I was like "that's bullsh*t" and then I looked over and I was like "Do you want to get in the shower?" as a joke."

The Love Island USA season 6 star Kaylor noted it wasn't a joke to her, and Aaron argued they could take things out of context and added that Kaylor was flirting with another islander.

Aaron maintained it wasn't a big deal, and Kaylor disagreed. She added that it was "way more important" to her than it was for the Love Island USA cast member. Countering his comment about Kaylor flirting with someone else, she said she didn't ask someone else to shower with her right after she and Aaron showered together.

The male cast member noted it was "unfair" since he didn't know what Kaylor had been up to while he was in Casa Amor, and she asked him why it was about her.

"Now you're being a victim and now it's about me, quit playing victim, Aaron. I'm f—king done with it."

Watching the episode back, Love Island USA season 6 fans chimed in on the situation online and criticized Aaron for his behavior. They further noted that the female cast member deserved better.
