"Scary vibessss" — The Ultimatum: Marry or Move On fans criticize Scotty for raising his voice at Aria

The Ultimatum: Marry or Move On released season 3 on Wednesday, December 4, 2024. Six couples participated in the social experiment to decide whether to marry or move on. Among them were Aria and Scotty, who clashed in episode 1, while exploring new connections. Aria faced Scotty's anger when she confronted him about holding another girl's hand in front of her.

Scotty, the ultimatum giver, forged a bond with Zaina, J.R.'s former partner, whereas, Aria bonded with J.R. and Mariah's former partner, Caleb. At the mixer in episode 1, when the cast members interacted with one another, Aria was moved to tears when she saw Scotty holding Zaina's hand.

When she confronted Scotty, saying she felt disrespected, Scotty yelled at her, asking her not to come at him for doing something that was a part of the process. The Ultimatum: Marry or Move On fans were unimpressed by Scotty's outburst. They took to X to disapprove of his treatment of Aria, calling his reaction inappropriate and uncalled for.

Since Scotty was impressed by Zaina's perspective on life, he was naturally drawn to her. While conversing at the party, they realized they had much in common, marriage being their top priority. Both cast members wanted to get married, settle, and have children.

Zaina and Scotty found the qualities in each other that were missing in their former partners. While Zaina was impressed by Scotty's attentive behavior, Scotty liked how caring and focused Zaina was. The Ultimatum: Marry or Move On stars acknowledged their attraction and looked forward to knowing more about one another.

The pair left the lounge area holding hands to head to the bar. That immediately caught Aria's attention, who was seated next to them. Feeling overwhelmed, Aria got up and walked to the restroom. Caleb followed to check in on her and found her sobbing. Meanwhile, Scotty told Zaina that Aria was not a "physical touch person" which bothered him.

Soon, Aria interrupted Scotty and Zaina's conversation to have a private discussion with her former partner. The Ultimatum: Marry or Move On star criticized Scotty for holding Zaina's hand in front of her.

Scotty defended himself by saying he had never disrespected her but Aria disagreed. She noted that holding another woman's hand in front of her was disrespectful enough. When Scotty reminded Aria that he issued the ultimatum to her, she wondered if it gave him the leeway to do as he pleased.

When Aria asked Scotty how he would feel to see her hold J.R.'s hand, he said:

"This is outrageous."
