The Real Housewives of Potomac aired a new episode on Sunday, October 27, 2024. It saw Jacqueline get into a heated argument with Jassi, accusing her of calling her "Mia's sidekick." Jacqueline mentioned she did not like being referred to as anybody's sidekick because she had her own identity.

When Jassi dismissed her claims, Jacqueline stood up from the table to flaunt her appearance, saying she did not need to be in someone else's shadow. However, Jassi disagreed since she believed Jacqueline was obsessed with Mia.

The Real Housewives of Potomac star taunted Jacqueline by joking that Mia had scouted for herself a better "sidekick" in the form of Jassi. The statement bothered Jacqueline, who said she would always remain Mia's "number one."

Fans of The Real Housewives of Potomac echoed the cast's criticism of Jacqueline's behavior during the argument, taking to X to express their disapproval. One fan on X tweeted:

"I hate saying this out loud but I really wish that Jacqueline would just stop. I get second hand embarrassment when she speaks up"

Several other fans shared their take on the argument.

"At first i was feeling bad for Jacqueline but she doesn’t help herself…… just go on and be Mia sidekick or sidechick whatever you decide," another fan commented.
"Jacqueline is that friend that doesn’t like her best friend to be friends with anyone else but her!!" a netizen tweeted.

The Real Housewives of Potomac fans criticized Jacqueline's argument with Jassi. They claimed she was extremely close with Mia, despite her denial.

"Jacqueline you are Mia’s sidekick and Jassi is more beautiful than you," a user reacted.
"Jacqueline tbh… you DO live in Mia’s shadow. Your entire existence on #RHOP revolves around Mia! Jassi is right, Jacqueline IS obsessed with Mia," a person commented.
"Jacqueline, you were literally casted because you are Mia's sidekick," another fan wrote.
"How does Jacqueline expect to escape the shadow of Mia if she’s always attached to Mia’s hip??" one user tweeted.

Meanwhile, some The Real Housewives of Potomac fans said Jacqueline went overboard trying to prove her point.

"Why is Jacqueline doing so much to insist she isn’t Mia’s sidekick but then immediately acting threatened by Jassi? I hate to agree with Gizelle on anything but girl, fighting over Mia like this is embarrassing," a person reacted.
"Jacqueline needs to simmer down. You’re a friend of the show!" another netizen commented.

The Real Housewives of Potomac: Jacqueline feels "attacked" being referred to as Mia's "sidekick"

In the latest episode of The Real Housewives of Potomac, Jacqueline revealed that the other cast members heard Jassi call her Mia's "sidekick" during their flight to Lake Norman. Although Jassi denied making such statements, Jacqueline remained unconvinced. She stated she disliked others referring to her as someone's "sidekick."

"So, I felt a little attacked because I feel like some of the ladies been giving a connotation that I'm living in Mia's shadow," Jacqueline said.

Speaking to the cameras, Jacqueline said that she had no reason to live in someone else's shadow. She highlighted that she was a businesswoman and a mother who knew how to "hold it down."

Jacqueline refused to be called a "sidekick," insisting she was the "main course." She believed her appearance was "giving," but Jassi begged to differ. At that point, Jacqueline stood up to flaunt her physical features, claiming she was "giving it."

"The hair, the body, the intellect, the finesse, I'm giving it," Jacqueline expressed.

Hearing that, Jassi replied, "The neck up? For sure." Meanwhile, Karen stared in disbelief as the two argued over being Mia's closest associate. During a confessional, Jassi said Jacqueline's behavior came off as "strange" because she was "obsessed with Mia."

Later, Jassi explained she had jokingly asked Mia to have a memorable trip because this time she had an "even better sidekick," referring to herself. Gizelle was surprised that The Real Housewives of Potomac stars were "fighting to be a sidekick." However, Jassi revealed the "sidekick" reference was a joke because she did not see herself as one.

Jacqueline retorted, saying she was glad Jassi was in Mia's life, but at the end of the day she knew she would always be Mia's "number one." The Real Housewives of Potomac star claimed Jassi had a "pick me" personality that she was not too fond of.
