The Real Housewives of New York City season 15 aired its season finale this week on January 21, 2025. The latest segment saw the continuation of Brynn and Ubah's confrontation from the previous episode.

At the end of last week's episode, Brynn confronted Ubah for implying that she slept with someone to get on the show and broke down in tears. In the season finale, as the argument continued, Ubah took Erin and Sai in a separate room to speak to them.

Meanwhile, Brynn spoke to the rest of the cast. She told them she was worried about what people from her s*xual assault support group would think about the allegations and noted that Ubah was aware of her trauma. The revelation made the cast question Ubah's stance and Brynn told the cameras that she didn't want to share her trauma with her friends in anger to prove a point.

Fans reacted to this whole situation online. While they offered support to Brynn, they questioned her motive about sharing her trauma story. One person wrote on X:

"Not denying Brynn’s experience, but I don’t think it’s fair to bring that up in the moment AND throw race into the conversation. It kinda seems manipulative and now everyone HAS to side with her."
"What happened to Brynn is absolutely horrible but weaponizing that trauma against Ubah feels really icky. The fact that the women are allowing her to do this is out of order as well. It’s all a bunch of bullsh*t," a fan commented.
"brynn going through what she did is horrible! but it’s not an excuse to continually lash out at everybody and anybody and giggle about it later like it never happened," a tweet read.

Fans of The Real Housewives of New York City Brynn was "weaponizing" her trauma:

"We all believe Brynn’s experience. We all acknowledge that it happened. It’s about the way she weaponizes her trauma against people. Specifically, Ubah. THAT is SICK! INEXCUSABLE!!" a person wrote.
"This could’ve had so many implications that could’ve ruined ubah’s life had the truth not come to the surface. brynn exhibits psychopathic behavior. very impulsive & very narcissistic. she lied and weaponized her s*xual assault against another woman. a black woman at that," a fan commented.
"Brynn.. the way you’re dealing with this narcissistic trauma behavior.. because it is trauma nonetheless," a tweet read.

Fans of The Real Housewives of New York City further said:

"Not only did Brynn weaponize s*xual assault, production used it as a marketing tool for “a finale like we’ve never seen before”. Cancel" a person wrote.
"brynn is f*cking nuts! manipulative, neurotic, narcissistic! this is so uncomfortable to watch," a fan commented.

"Ubah knows this"—The Real Housewives of New York City star Brynn opens up about her assault trauma during the finale

In The Real Housewives of New York City season 15 finale, Brynn and Ubah's feud continued after the group tried talking to the latter about the way she had been acting on the trip. Ubah pulled Sai and Erin aside for a conversation, while the rest of the cast stayed with a crying Brynn.

Brynn told The Real Housewives of New York City cast that she had worked hard for everything in her life and hadn't slept with anyone to get a job. She further said she must have slept with a total of 10 people throughout her life. Meanwhile, Ubah explained herself to Sai and Erin, and they told her to stop reacting to Brynn.

Brynn continued to express herself in the other room and told the cast that her future kids would see the show someday and hear what Ubah had said. She added that she was "dealing with sh*t" and going to support group for s*xual assault.

"I'm in support group to deal with the sh*t that happened to me, you wanna go there? And Ubah knows this," she added.

The Real Housewives of New York City season 15 cast member said that she called Ubah before BravoCon and told her she was "r*ped" and was still dealing with it. Brynn further chimed in on sharing her trauma with the cast in a confessional. She said that she didn't want to disclose her information with her friends in anger to prove a point and that's why a lot of things affected her.

Fans of the reality show commented on Brynn sharing her trauma online and while they supported that cast member, they questioned her intentions for sharing it in the midst of her argument with Ubah.
