"Selfish child"— 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way fans criticize Tata for asking James to stay in Indonesia 

90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way season 6 aired episode 20, titled, He's Just Not That Into U.S. on Monday, November 11, 2024. The segment saw James going to the airport to return to America while Tata decided to stay back in Indonesia with her family because she was afraid of being alone.

While at the airport, she asked him to stay. She noted that she wouldn't know if he cheated on her because he would be so far away. James told the cameras that he was upset that Tata had lost all faith in their relationship and wanted to win it back.

Fans of the TLC reality show reacted to the segment online and criticized Tata for trying to manipulate the cast member with her tears. One person wrote on X:

In 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way season 6 episode 20, James decided to go back to America but Tata didn't want to move. The female cast member didn't want to be alone and wanted James to sponsor her sister's visa so she could come and visit her.

At the airport, the 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way season 6 star asked him to stay. James told her that he made many promises to her including being able to take care of her. He explained that it was important for him to leave so he could work and return to Indonesia. He told her if would have found a way to do things differently if he could.

Tata told him that he could "just bring" Angel to America and asked him to promise to sponsor her sister's visa. James told her he knew Tata had "blind trust" in everybody but he had to make "smart" and "safe" decisions. Tata asked if he didn't trust her and he said he married her and trusted her.
