Love Island: All Stars Season 2 released Episode 9 on Tuesday, January 21, 2025. In one of the segments of the episode, Catherine confided in Elma about the lack of affection shown to her by her partner, Nas. Catherine was moved to tears as she detailed how unwanted and neglected she felt in that relationship.

"All I want is someone to hold my hand," she said.

Catherine described the ups and downs of her equation with Nas and stated that she wanted him to open up and be more affectionate toward her. She said that although she knew Nas was a "slow-burner," she expected him to at least hug her once in a while so she felt reassured about his feelings.

Elma assured Catherine that someone else would make her feel loved if Nas did not, implying that she should explore other options, however, Catherine insisted on seeking affection from her partner. Elma requested Catherine not to get upset, saying it was not her fault, but Nas'. She added that it was his responsibility to step up his game.

Love Island: All Stars fans took to X to sympathize with Catherine, urging her not to cry over Nas. Meanwhile, others requested producers to send in a "bombshell" (newcome) for Catherine so she could break away from him.

The latest episode of Love Island: All Stars saw Catherine pull Elma aside for a conversation, during which she opened up about her relationship dynamics with Nas. While the other couples progressed in their relationships, Catherine confessed feeling unwanted.

"I know Nas is a slow-burner, I get that, you know, and I feel like I've adapted to that a lot, do you know what I mean?" she explained.

Although Catherine had accepted Nas' pace and "been fine with it" so far, she admitted it was slowly beginning to bother her. Elma agreed, saying Catherine let Nas have his way for longer than required. She encouraged Catherine to believe in herself and not to forget that she was a "20 out of a 10."

The Love Island: All Stars cast member added that if Nas was not meeting her expectations, someone else would. Hearing that, Catherine confessed that she wanted him to express his affection, instead of someone else.

"I know you do and you deserve for him to, but we can't teach these men. Like, they're meant to be f***ing grown adults," Elma remarked.

Although Catherine did not wish to make a big deal out of it, she stated she would bring it up if Nas' demeanor did not change over time.
