She revealed that during an ultrasound, at the 12-week mark, the doctors discovered that the baby's heart had stopped beating.

During a conversation with co-star Amara, Brooke revealed that she often found herself crying, struggling to come to terms with her loss. Although she wished to move on, she could not overcome the trauma of her experience. Brooke added that she wanted to keep herself distracted since it helped her uplift her mood.

Marcus' "numb" demeanor enhanced Brooke's sadness. While she sought Marcus' support, he claimed the miscarriage was part of God's plan and encouraged Brooke to refocus her attention on their other children and businesses.

While discussing her miscarriage with Marcus, Brooke confessed that she felt an unsettling feeling after going through all the hospital checkups and still not bringing a baby home. She revealed she was "incredibly excited" about her pregnancy and looked forward to meeting her child.

"Going from finding out that I'm pregnant to finding out that we lost the pregnancy has just been a whirlwind of emotions for me. I know this is something I'm not gonna get over quickly but I just really wanna get past this moment right here. This moment is tough," Brooke said in a confessional.

When the Love & Hip Hop: Miami star implied that she wanted to experience the joy of pregnancy again, Marcus expressed his disapproval. He explained that he did not wish to put Brooke's life in danger again by trying to have another child.

Although Brooke explained she was "nesting," she failed to convince Marcus. Ultimately, she expressed that it felt like they were part of two different relationships.
