Baddies Midwest returned with a new episode on January 26, 2025. It saw the cast getting into multiple physical altercations over different disagreements. While the rest tried to subdue the tension and work toward reconciliation, the arguments and fights overwhelmed one cast member. Overcome by emotions, Diamond stated she wanted to quit the show and go home.
"I quit. I quit. I'm done. I don't wanna do Baddies no more. I wanna go home," Diamond said.
Natalie was surprised by Diamond's confession and wondered what upset her to that extent. While speaking to the cameras, Diamond stated she had grown tired of the constant fights and arguments among the cast members and needed to go home since something was happening in her personal life.
At that point, Summer criticized Diamond for having a meltdown over her friend's fights but not when others clashed. Diamond defended herself by saying nobody cared about each other on the show and that she could not continue like that. Even then, Summer questioned Diamond's emotional breakdown, reminding her she knew what she had signed up for.
Baddies Midwest fans took to X to react to Diamond's confession. While many sympathized with her, others disapproved of her behavior.
"Let Diamond go home. She tired. That s**t annoying. I feel her," a fan wrote.
"OMG I can't believe im agreeing w/ Summer. YES Diamond this what you signed up 4, stop all that crying if you cant take it then leave," another fan commented.
"Diamond…you clout chased your way on this show by picking a fight with Tinka. Nooooow you’re acting like you have never been down with the premise of the show. GIRL BYE!!!!" a netizen tweeted.
Many Baddies Midwest fans were unhappy with Diamond's meltdown, deeming it unnecessary since she knew what the show was about.
"Why diamond crying about everyone fighting as if she didn’t start s**t with everyone in baddies Caribbean for camera time, and then did all that rah rah online till the reunion and got beat up immediately. Like diamond said u know wtf u signed up for don’t go doing the most now," a user reacted.
"Now Diamond Wanna Go Home & Cry & S**t Cause They Keep Fighting Like B**ch Bye," a person commented.
"I wish Diamond would just leave if she so tired of it. Act like you been here before. The fights gonna keep on going," another fan wrote.
In contrast, other Baddies Midwest fans believed Diamond was going through something.
"You can tell Diamond going through something . She definitely don’t dodge smoke," one user posted.
"Something must’ve REALLY been up with DTB..I done watched hellaaaaaa shows with Diamond on it… (#NTTV AND #Zeus mind you) & she ran hellaaaa fades…. But I ain’t NEVER seen DTB cry like this on a show.. not even over GuCciiiiiii *DTB voice*" a person reacted.
"I don't want nobody getting hurt" — Baddies Midwest's Diamond is frustrated with the fights
While speaking in a confessional, Summer demeaned Diamond for getting emotional over Ahna, Biggie, and Nunu's fight, saying it was not "Baddie behavior." Meanwhile, Diamond stated that how she acted on the show did not reflect her genuine self, claiming she was a "good" person.
"I feel for people. I love people, I don't want nobody getting hurt," the Baddies Midwest star added.
However, Diamond's breakdown did not sit well with Natalie, who stressed the importance of being part of the Baddies Midwest cast. She then suggested that one should want to "stay on" the show not for one season, but multiple. Natalie urged the new Baddies to "hold onto that camera" because they would lose their fame and recognition the minute they exited the franchise.
"All of a sudden your 200K likes is 3000 likes," she added.
The Baddies Midwest star assured the women that leaving the show would not be wise, convinced they would regret it once they started losing fans. Natalie claimed the show was not as bad, implying it was "worse" in other places.
Baddies Midwest airs on Zeus every Sunday at 8 pm ET.
