In the first part of The Voice season 26 finale on December 9, 2024, the finalists stepped onto the stage to battle it out one last time before America voted their winner. Among the five finalists was Jeremy Beloate, the only contender from Snoop Dogg's team.

The contestants had to compete in two rounds, once with a ballad and again with an up-tempo song to impress the coaches and win the viewers' hearts. Each aimed to outperform the other, hoping to garner the maximum votes and leave the competition victorious.

One such artist was Jeremy, who wished to leave a lasting impression on the audience with his performances in the finale. For his first song, he sang What the World Needs Now is Love by Jackie DeShannon, followed by Dancing on My Own by Robyn, which was his second.

The mentors were moved by his acts, but fans of The Voice were divided. While many appreciated his Broadway singing style, others were critical. Likewise, netizens were split on seeing him as the show's next winner and flocked to X to express their opinions on his performances.

"Jeremy definitely should not win #TheVoice He's not bad but he's very run-of-the-mill vocally for a broadway singer. He confessed he couldn't get broadway style gigs, but that's his lane, so..." a fan wrote.
"Jeremy Beloate turning up the temperature, bringing the drama from the opening. Such a gorgeous, rounded tone. Beautiful use of dynamics. He left it all on that stage. Moving," another fan commented.

Many fans of The Voice were unimpressed by Jeremy's acts in the latest episode.

"I heard Snoop cried so I went back and watched that Jeremy performance, it wasn't that good. What was he crying for... Snoop just loves mediocrity on this show," a user reacted.
"Jeremy beloate can. NOT. Sing. we need to end the tiktok bathroom slow song industrial complex," a person commented.
"Jeremy. He can sing, but this Broadway dude is not what this show is about. IMO. Also, didn't he say last week that he auditioned for Broadway over 150X and didn't get a gig?" another fan wrote.

In contrast, other fans of The Voice praised Jeremy's vocal abilities and believed he had the potential to win the show.

"Jeremy has been the best performance so far tonight imo.. he showed off the range of his voice which no one else has done tonight," a user posted.
"Wow, Jeremy Beloate’s performance on #TheVoiceFinale was so touching," a person reacted.
"people stay sleeping on jeremy but he's absolutely one of the best," another netizen commented.

"You bring that feeling out of me" — The Voice coach Snoop Dogg gets emotional listening to Jeremy Beloate during the finale

Jeremy was the second act of the night after Danny Joseph from Reba McEntire's team opened the finale singing Ain't No Love in Oklahoma by Luke Combs. Jeremy's first song, What the World Needs Now is Love, captivated the coaches and the studio audience.

While others were up on their feet mid-performance, swaying to the song's rhythm, Jeremy's mentor, Snoop Dogg, was in tears. After the performance, Snoop praised Jeremy for showcasing his emotions through the lyrics.

"It's all about the way he makes me feel. You bring that feeling out of me," he said.

The Voice coach, Michael, expressed a similar sentiment, applauding Jeremy's stage presence and character. He wished him the best of luck for his future and hoped to see him on Broadway sometime soon.

Jeremy presented his rendition of Dancing on My Own for his second act, which he sang as a ballad. Before he stepped onto the stage, he wrote a letter dedicated to music. Through the letter, he recalled his difficult childhood, where he had to deal with school bullies. The Voice contestant also reflected on the challenges of life after losing his brothers and how music helped him recover from that phase.

After his second act, coach Gwen Stefani praised Jeremy's "powerful" vocal range, calling his act "perfect" and him "very gifted." Likewise, Snoop Dogg was mesmerized by his performance and appreciated his style and ability to control a song.
