The Real Housewives of Dubai season 2 returned to screens on August 13, 2024 with a brand new episode. During the segment, the cast continued their trip in Bali as they geared up to attend a traditional Balinese dinner organized by Lesa Milan. In the previous episode, Lesa showed the dresses to Ayan and Brooks, but the latter didn't like the color of her dress.
In the latest episode, Caroline Brooks, Caroline Stanbury, and Taleen Marie decided against going to dinner and failed to inform the cast. Fans of the show criticized the three cast members for not attending dinner. One person wrote on X:
"I feel like they should’ve still wore the dresses & attended the dinner, just to show respect to the Bali culture & dressmaker but whatever I guess #RHODubai
"#RHODubai I actually agree with Saba! They're wearing the dresses to one damned dinner and it's not like they spent their own money on them, Ladies, it's not that serious...you all looked beautiful...," a fan commented.
"Stanbury, Taleen, & Brooks lost out on an elegant dinner over dresses. #RHODubai," a tweet read.
The Real Housewives of Dubai season 2 fans criticized Brooks for complaining about the dress:
"Over a dress? It ain’t that deep Brooks. #rhodubai," a person wrote.
"Brooks likes to complain. The dress would’ve actually looked good on her and the mustard with her skin tone would’ve ate down. #RHODubai," a fan commented.
"Brooks drunk and rambling on about not wanting to wear a dress because it’s mustard yellow. #RHODubai," a tweet read.
Some fans of The Real Housewives of Dubai season 2 agreed with Brooks' decision to skip the event:
"Honestly… If you give me something to wear to a dinner and I don’t like it or I’m not comfortable in it, I’m not wearing it so I don’t see the issue #RHODubai," a person commented.
"Brooks is Me.. I am Brooks.. we should not eat cheese but we continue to. #RHODubai," a fan wrote.
"This was thought out": The Real Housewives of Dubai star Brooks thinks Lesa sabotaged her
In The Real Housewives of Dubai season 2 episode 10, titled, Dressed to the Whines, Brooks, Stanbury, and Taleen decided to skip Lesa Milan's dinner party because Brooks didn't like her dress.
While getting ready, the three discussed the outfits as Brooks claimed that Lesa intentionally picked a bad dress for her. She told Taleen that Ayan and Lesa's dresses were planned.
"I sat behind them in the van, I read Lesa's text messages to the designer," she said.
The Real Housewives of Dubai star elaborated on her problem with the dress in a confessional and questioned the color of her dress. Brooks said she was not a "hot dog" and was not comfortable wearing a mustard-colored dress. Brooks recalled Lesa saying that she didn't know which dress was for whom.
"This was thought out for a long time," she told Taleen and Stanbury.
Taleen pointed out how late they were and Brooks told her she was going to change into a pink maxi dress. In a confessional, she added that the designer made the dresses how the RHODubi cast member wanted them and said the cast member "sabotaged" her.
The rest of the cast was already at dinner and decided to check up on the three. Sara called Brooks who told her they were not coming, which angered some of the cast members.
"I'm f*cking pissed", Lesa Milan said.
The Real Housewives of Dubai star said it was "disrespectful" to Lesa and the designer. In a confessional, she added that Brooks, Stanbury, and Taleen knew the hard work that went into making the "traditional Balinese night" a special occasion. She said it was "f*cked up" for them to "sh*t all over it."
Fans of the Bravo show took to social media to react to the episode and were critical of the three cast members missing Lesa's event.
The Real Housewives of Dubai season 2 will return to screens next week with another episode on Tuesday, August 20, 2024, on Bravo.
