"Silly move" — The Traitors UK fans react to Linda and Minah sending a recruitment letter to Anna

The Traitors UK Season 3 returned with another episode on Thursday, January 9, 2025. It showcased Minah and Linda sending a recruitment letter to Anna after their co-conspirator Armani was banished from the castle in an earlier episode. However, Anna surprised the conspirators by rejecting their offer, unwilling to let them make decisions on her behalf.

The previous episode saw Claudia Winkleman, the show's host, present Linda, and Minah with the opportunity to add another member to their group. However, if they agreed to recruit a third member, they would not be able to "murder" anyone for the night. Minah and Linda accepted Claudia's offer, eager to have another player on their side.

Thursday's episode revealed that the duo had sent the recruitment letter to the 28-year-old swimming teacher from Ireland, Anna. While Minah and Linda expected their offer to get accepted, Anna had other plans. She wanted to play the game as a Faithful on her own terms, unwilling to become their "scapegoat" when she was already being suspected by others.

The Traitors UK fans took to X to express their views about Minah and Linda's wish to recruit Anna. While many questioned their decision, others wondered why Anna did not discuss the letter with her co-stars.

The Traitors UK fans disapproved of Minah and Linda's decision to select Anna.

"That was a bad move from #TheTraitors tonight to try and recruit Anna. Why recruit her when....1. She was facing the heat anyway 2. Minah and Linda were under the radar. I respect Anna for playing her own game and sussing the Traitors wanting to frame her," a user reacted.

"Anna? Really guys? Did they really think she’d willingly be the scapegoat. They should of picked someone nobody suspected," a person commented.

Meanwhile, other fans of The Traitors UK wondered why Anna did not tell her co-stars that the Traitors had tried to recruit her.

"Anna needs to say something, they literally put down down ‘strong independent women’ WOMEN not woman, that’s almost a giveaway that the traitors are women," another fan wrote.

"anna is so slow, why are you not snitching about the recruitment??" one user posted.

"If I was Anna I would 100% tell the group that the Traitors tried to recruit her and the note said “Strong Women” on it. She’s holding a really strong secret here," a person reacted.

"A ticking time bomb" — The Traitors UK star Linda comments on Anna's decision not to disclose recent events

After accepting Claudia's offer, Minah and Linda sent a letter asking Anna to join their group in the turret. In the letter, they stated they wanted Anna to join their team of "strong independent" women without realizing that by mentioning "women" they were giving away a major hint about their identities.

When Anna rejected their offer, she put Minah and Linda in a difficult spot because they did not know how or if The Traitors UK star would use the information to expose them. Linda, in particular, was surprised to see Anna not discuss the recruitment letter with her co-stars during breakfast.

"Anna hasn't said anything yet. As long as she keeps quiet, we've got away with it, but Anna is a ticking time bomb," Linda said.

Meanwhile, Anna confessed she did not know what to do with the information. She feared no one would believe her if she told them the truth. At the same time, Anna was convinced she would either get "murdered" for rejecting the offer or banished since her co-stars were suspicious of her.

While explaining her decision to turn down the conspirators' proposal, Anna said:

"I felt like this was going to happen. They are using this to scapegoat me. They are going to throw me under the bus and then I am going to have to stand up there and tell everyone I am a Traitor... If I am going to leave the competition, I want to leave it my way."

Later in the episode, another intense roundtable discussion sent Tyler, a Faithful, packing, leaving Livi in tears.
