"So cute"— Too Hot To Handle season 6 fans react to Chris and Demari's 'bromance'

Too Hot To Handle season 6's episodes 1–7 are available to stream on Netflix, and the show is set to drop more episodes later this week on Friday, August 2, 2024. So far in the show, several romantic connections have come to light; however, there have also been notable friendships that caught the fans' eyes.

One such friendship was between Demari and Chris, who were both vying for the same woman in the beginning of the show. Later in the series, fans saw Chris take a step back when he realized that although Bri was upset with Demari, she still had feelings for him. Fans also saw the two open up about their childhood to one another and termed their friendship "beautiful to watch." One person wrote on X:

Too Hot To Handle season 6: Chris and Demari's friendship explored

In Too Hot To Handle season 6, Demari and Chris started their journey competing for the same woman. However, seeing Bri pick Demari, the latter took a step back since both Demari and Bri were interested in one another. Even when the two briefly parted ways after Demari kissed Valentina, Chris made it his mission to help his friend get Bri back.

During the Reflecting the Real You workshop in episode 5, Demari opened up about wanting to see collected and as someone who "has it" together all the time. Chris noticed the way Bri was looking at him.

"I can see Bri looking over at Demari quite a bit. This is not over between them. I might just nudge Bri in the right direction," Chris told the cameras.

After the workshop, Chris told Demari that while they were hugging towards the end of the workshop, he asked the Too Hot To Handle season 6 cast member if she was still into Demari. He added that Bri still liked him and said he would see that because Bri was smiling when she saw Demari smile.

In Too Hot To Handle season 6, while Demari and Bri were separated, the male cast member shared a bed with his friend Chris instead of sleeping with another female cast member.

In episode 6, Chris inquired about the two contestants' relationship status while in conversation with Demari. The latter told him that Bri "f*cking" hated him at the moment. He added that he needed to "fix" things with her.

"I feel I'm in a place right now where it's like, I need to fix this sh*t. I hate being that person in people's stories where I feel they won't forgive me at some point too. Because I haven't," Demari said.

Chris asked the Too Hot To Handle season 6 star if there was an example of what he meant, and Demari opened up about his relationship with his mother. He said he had a "big problem" forgiving his mother for a while, even though she was also going through "so much."

Chris told Demari he also went through something similar with his mother.

"Because my dad died at the age of 15. My mum, she was there, but she wasn't. She's not there. Can't chat to her about anything," Chris added.
