"So funny"— Love is Blind: Habibi fans react to Simo and Chafic's argument 

Love is Blind: Habibi aired episodes 1-9 on October 10. The segment followed Arab singles entering the pods as they started their journey on the social experiment. Chafic found himself attracted to several women but pursued a bond with Dounia, and the two got engaged.

When the cast went on vacation, Chafic discovered he knew another female cast member, Nour, from years ago. He confided in Simo about the same, and the latter told Chafic's partner, Dounia, that some people had known each other since before. The female participant told Chafic what was mentioned to her.

This led to an argument between the two, during which Chafic asked him why he told Dounia while Simo claimed he was talking about the social experiment in general. Fans of the dating reality show expressed their thoughts about the argument online. One person wrote on X:

What happened between Chafic and Simo in Love is Blind: Habibi?

In Love is Blind: Habibi episode 4, titled Catching Up with Cupid, Chafic told Simo that he felt Mido's partner, Nour, was "flirty." Recalling his and the female cast member's conversation, he said that she told him she knew him, and he reminded her they used to talk on Instagram.

"And she tell me, "Oh, when you talk Arabic, it's so cute," Chafic said.

The Love is Blind: Habibi star said his partner, Dounia, was next to him, and he wanted God to help him in that moment. Simo asked whether Dounia heard the conversation, and Chafic said he didn't know. Simo said it would be a problem if Dounia heard him.

Later in the episode, the Love is Blind: Habibi cast member spoke to Chafic's partner, Dounia. Since they didn't get a chance to interact much while in the pods, she asked him if there was anything he regretted. He informed her he didn't care what people said about him.

"I do respect people, and I'm expecting respect of people. Experience wasn't there really 100 percent. Some of the guys were talking with the girls before seeing them. I didn't like it," Simo said.

Dounia told the cameras she didn't like what she heard and told Chafic about what Simo said. The Love is Blind: Habibi male cast member, Chafic, told the cameras he didn't accept Simo's behavior and that he made a mistake telling Simo.

Chafic confronted Simo and asked him why he told her. Simo asked why he was angry and called him "crazy." He further added to the cameras that Chafic was "immature." He asked the Love is Blind: Habibi participant why he took the statement "personally," and the two began to argue.

Fans reacted to the argument online and thought it was funny since they were conversing in French.
