The Ultimatum: Marry or Move On Season 3 premiered on Wednesday, December 4, 2024. Six couples participated in the show to decide whether to marry or move on. Each participant had to end things with their partner and enter into a "trial marriage" with someone new to discover whether their original relationship was meant to be. Among the newly formed pairs were Aria and Caleb.

Aria, originally Scotty's girlfriend, and Caleb, originally Mariah's boyfriend, were both given the ultimatum. While Aria wanted to focus on her career and become independent before considering marriage, Caleb wanted to take things slow and understand the pros and cons of marriage before making any major decision.

After the couples broke up, they started mingling and forming connections. Aria liked Caleb's calm and balanced nature, whereas Caleb appreciated Aria's independent and driven personality. Consequently, after a few conversations, they decided to couple up. Although their connection was initially "platonic," it gradually became emotional.

Both Aria and Caleb utilized their time together to reflect on their original relationships and discuss what lacked or could have been better. In that process, they felt respected and cared for by one another, which deepened their connection. Aria and Caleb admitted they felt comfortable in each other's presence and could be themselves without fearing being judged.

The Ultimatum: Marry or Move On fans were in awe of their relationship. They took to X to share their opinion on the couple's chemistry.

"I just felt really secure" — The Ultimatum: Marry or Move On star Aria comments on her connection with Caleb

In the first episode, when all six pairs had just broken up, Aria found herself in a difficult position after seeing Scotty hold Zaina's hand. When Aria rushed to the restroom to cry, Caleb followed her and comforted her until she felt better. Their connection started building from that point onwards.

In episode 2, when the singles were still getting to know one another, Aria and Caleb discussed what was holding them back from getting married. While Aria confessed that she wanted to stabilize her life before marrying so she did not have to depend on "a man's paycheck," Caleb mentioned that he wanted to achieve financial security before tying the knot.

While choosing Caleb in The Ultimatum: Marry or Move On episode 3, Aria noted that she could connect with Caleb since they had similar goals and upbringing.

"It's nice to see somebody else with resilience as well. We were honestly able to be vulnerable with each other. I did not feel judged at all. And I think that he was just there for me, and I just felt really secure with you," Aria said.

Caleb appreciated Aria's comments and ultimately paired with her.

In the fourth episode, The Ultimatum: Marry or Move On couple opened up about their dilemmas and deepened their connection. Caleb asked Aria about her parents' separation and discussed how Mariah's "blind faith" in their relationship scared him. He also encouraged Aria to share her fears and inhibitions.

"I feel like Caleb truly cares about me as a person. I can see it with even the smallest actions," Aria said.

At the end of the episode, they enjoyed a romantic spa date in their apartment, during which Caleb thanked Aria for being genuine with him. The date started changing Aria's perspective about Caleb. While speaking to the cameras, The Ultimatum: Marry or Move On star confessed that she now felt emotionally drawn to him and not just in a friendly way.

In The Ultimatum: Marry or Move On episode 5, Caleb realized that he had started emotionally connecting to Aria. In one segment, he told her that their time together would not be forgotten. However, he felt conflicted because he did not want to betray his original partner, Mariah.

"I'm big on loyalty and my loyalty is to Mariah but I feel confused because I didn't anticipate having a, I would say, like, an emotional connection with Aria," he said.
