"So insecure"- Love is Blind Habibi fans react to Mido rejecting Nour

The first season of Love is Blind Habibi, the Middle Eastern version of the coveted dating reality show, premiered on October 10. The show included participants from Lebanon, Saudi Arabia, Morocco, Tunisia, Iraq, and Jordan, among other countries in the Middle East.

Mido and Nour were among the couples who got engaged from the pods of Love is Blind Habibi. The former was rejected by Asma, while the latter faced rejection from Chafic, so when they came into the pods, they bonded over heartbreak.

However, their Love is Blind Habibi journey didn't last long as they parted ways during the couple's vacation at a Dubai resort. Mido told his friends that he was leaving the resort because Nour paid too much attention to her appearance and that she needed to step into the real world. Fans on X reacted to the same.

"Mido is so insecure because he knows that Nour is too far out of his league, so he is trying to paint her out as the bad guy and as ‘too much’. Short man syndrome is real ya’ll, God Forbid," a fan said.

Fans suggested that Mido projected his insecurities onto Nour, believing his self-doubt caused him to misjudge her intentions.

"Is Mido just projecting his insecurities onto Nour because she’s hot? I feel like she’s actually trying to get to know him, but his self-doubt is totally clouding his judgment," another fan said.

"Mido KNOWS THE TRUTH and read Nour for filthhh. I'm proud of Mido for leaving," a third fan commented.

"Mido is insecure AF because Nour is a certified hottie and is self-sabotaging by making her seem like the issue. She actually was giving him a chance and he went and had breakfast without inviting her and left without hearing her out …what a loser," another said.

Some Love is Blind Habibi fans called Mido out for leaving without talking to Nour or hearing her out.

"Mido is full of. talking about he met a blonde Egyptian girl after running away from Nour like a coward. Ain't nobody checking for him," an X user wrote.

"Mido….just wth. COMMUNICATION. these guys are all talk. even if you don’t feel anything for her, at LEAST listen…," another X user wrote.

Fans also reacted to Nour's behavior.

"Mido left Noor and she sat to read a book instead of going home More screen time over any heartbreak," a commentator wrote.

"Yall have a completely wrong read on Nour. I aim to have her self esteem and unbotheredness. She did not allow Mido abruptly leaving to ruin her good time. She also had zero interest in Chafic his finance was reading into everything and being jealous," another commentator wrote.

Mido and Nour's breakup in Love is Blind Habibi episode 5

Before Nour and Mido sat together in episode 5 of Love is Blind Habibi, Mido said he was going to have a serious conversation with her because she seemed distant and was expecting constant attention without showing appreciation. When they sat down, she discussed Chafic and Simo's fight from the previous night.

This made Mido suggest that she had feelings for Chafic because she laughed and giggled with him but didn’t do those things with Mido. He also recalled that she got a gift for Chafic back in the pods but never gave Mido anything.

Mido then told her they were different people, and they should part ways. When Nour demanded to say something, Mido gave her the time, but because she couldn't express herself, he left. Nour called him childish for leaving before hearing her out.

When Mido was alone with the boys, he mentioned to them that he was leaving the resort. When they demanded to know the reason, he said Nour stayed in the room all day long doing her hair and makeup. He added that she needed to wake up and see real life because she thought life was artificial.

At the same time, Nour was sitting down with her girls, she told them for her it was "easy come easy go" and didn't want to give Mido the time to get to know her.
