Demi and Ollie's Love is Blind UK wedding vows explored
In Love is Blind UK episode 10, Demi met Ollie at the altar. As part of the vows, she told her fiancé she appreciated and loved him and thought he was an "amazing human being." She added that she admired his humor and how he could "light up" any room.
The Love is Blind UK star added that Ollie's humor "encouraged" her to "feel light and free." Demi said Ollie's touch made her feel safe and that his "overthinking" taught her patience.
"You are a beautiful person inside and out. I've watched you adapt and more and that has made me appreciate and love you more. I want to continue to see you shine. You deserve nothing less than happiness," Demi said.
As part of his vows, Ollie told Demi that it was difficult to find the right words to describe their journey on the Netflix show. He called their time together "exciting, breathtaking," and sometimes "testing."
He called Demi, standing out from the others in the pods, and that she quickly became someone he looked forward to talking to every day. Ollie said the reality star was someone he could laugh with, someone he "could trust," and someone he could be vulnerable with. He said she was not just his fiancée but also his best friend.
"You lifted me up when I've been down, reassured me when I've been unsure and guided me when I've felt lost," Ollie added.
The Love is Blind UK thanked Demi for being wonderful and for introducing him to her family. He told her he loved her for who she was and what she brought into his life in "such a short space of time."
The minister asked the couple what their next step was going to be. Demi told Ollie that while she loved him, she didn't want to marry him. She also clarified that while her answer was "No" in the moment, it didn't mean that it was over forever. Ollie termed it a "diversion" instead of the end.
Fans can watch Ollie and Demi's story unfold on Love is Blind UK, episodes of which are available to stream on Netflix.
