"Such a mess"— Love is Blind UK fans react to Catherine and Ollie's conversation in Episode 5

Love is Blind UK returned to screens with five new episodes this week on Wednesday, August 14, 2024. In the first episode, the cast met together as a group and while it was a positive experience for most, Catherine decided to confront Ollie for lying about their breakup.

Ahead of the conversation, the female cast member told her partner, Freddie that she was hurt that he told the group he broke up with her since she cared about Ollie and Demi. Freddie told her he would support her with how she wanted to proceed.

Catherine pulled Ollie away for a chat. Although the two had a nice conversation, there was a "weird tension" in the air afterward. Demi felt awkward about the conversation but didn't want to come across as a "jealous" person by asking Ollie about it. Fans of the show took to social media to react to the conversation. Love is Blind UK stars Catherine and Ollie clear the air in Episode 5

In Love is Blind UK Episode 5, Catherine wanted to clear the air with Ollie after he lied to the group and said he broke up with her in the pods. Catherine spoke to her partner Freddie about the same and the latter supported her decision. As the group got together, she pulled Ollie away to talk to him.

"I didn't want to stir the pot between Demi and Ollie, 'cause there was that little connection at the start, but I don't want people thinking that I was lying or that he ended it, because he didn't," Catherine explained to the cameras.

Catherine told the Love is Blind UK star she was "nervous" about meeting him because she was "told something." Catherine stated that she found out that Ollie told the male participants that he "called it off" with her.

Ollie clarified he didn't. As she recalled the moment, Catherine said she felt "awful" at the time. She added that she was trying to be "respectful" since she wanted them to be friends.

Ollie explained himself and said that since he didn't remember correctly, he couldn't say that it "definitely" wasn't true.

"I thought I'd gone back and said that I was gonna say that, and then you beat me to it and I was kind of relieved that we were on the same page. If I did say that, I apologize," he added.

Later in the episode, Ollie spoke to Bobby about the conversation as he felt there was a "weird energy" about him and Catherine and said she was "eyeing" him when they met.

Love is Blind UK fans took to social media to react to the segment and were critical of both Ollie and Catherine.
