After episode 25 aired, fans of the show took to social media to react to Miguel picking Leah over Serena. In this regard, a netizen person wrote on X:

"Miguel might be a h*e but he's not a liar. He knew Leah was the one for him and ended things with Sierra right away for her. Their chemistry is insane, such a strong couple. #LoveislandUSA"
"Leah and Miguel HAVE to be endgame or I'll km #loveislandusa," a fan commented.
"I think Miguel loves that Leah knows she's the prize and he knows it too. He probably loves that she is so chill and knows it's them at the end. I love my parents! gn to my mom and dad #Loveilslandusa," a viewer commented.

Love Island USA season 6 fans praised Miguel and said he was "zeroed in on Leah":

"I need to give props to Miguel because he never gave the casa girl any attention since he came back, that's so unexpected of him. he really was just zeroed in on Leah #loveislandusa," a fan commented.
"How is Miguel suddenly the most mature man in the house. As soon as he knew he felt stronger for Leah he didn’t string Sierra along, he immediately and respectfully ended their casual fling #loveislandusa," a viewer mentioned.
"I feel like Leah finally found her match with Miguel because with Rob everything was happening really really fast and with Connor it was very impulsive, but I feel like with Miguel it’s very intentional and you could see that from both sides and I just love them #LoveIslandUSA," a person wrote.

Love Island USA season 6 fans further said:

"Hearing Miguel and Leah's heartbeats when they were hugging melted my heart omg #loveislandusa," a person wrote.
"Okay wait when Leah and Miguel were hugging you could hear their heartbeat super fast #LoveIslandUSA," a fan commented.

"I do care" — Miguel chooses Leah in Love Island USA season 6

In Love Island USA season 6 episode 25, Miguel spoke to Leah about his feelings and told the female islander that he was sorry for appearing as if he did not give a "f—k."

"But that's not the case. I do care. I care if you find someone here. I care if you get hurt. When I was in the Casa, like, you was in my head a lot," Miguel said.

Leah told him she felt the same but didn't want to feel "stupid." The Love Island USA season 6 islander told Leah that she was someone he cared about and he didn't want to hurt her. The cast members hugged, and Miguel said Leah was a "dope person." In a confessional, Miguel elaborated on how he felt about Leah:

"Regardless of perhaps some of the choices I make, I care about how she feels. I do care, you know, if she picks someone else, you know? It would s*ck. And seeing her when I got back I felt really happy seeing her again. She is someone I very — I do care deeply about."

Miguel told the Love Island USA season 6 cast member that he was happy to be on the show and to have met someone like her. Later, he spoke to Sierra, the Casa Amor contestant he brought back into the villa, and informed her that he was going to stay with Leah.

After the episode aired, Love Island USA season 6 fans chimed in on the situation online and were happy to see the islanders back together.

Love Island USA season 6 will air its upcoming episode on Tuesday, July 9, 2024, on Peacock at 9 pm ET.
