What happened in Too Hot To Handle season 6 finale?

In Too Hot To Handle season 6 episode 10, the cast spent their final days in Lana's retreat as their journeys came to a conclusion. The segment started with Flavia and Joao's relationship coming to an end. The latter broke up with Flavia after she and Jalen had a flirtatious exchange. It made the participant question the likeliness of their relationship working out outside of the show.

Meanwhile, Bri and Charlie, the two contestants who were banished from the retreat in episode 1, reflected upon their journeys. They wondered if they would have changed their ways if Lana hadn't punished them for their behavior in the initial days of the Netflix show.

The cast participated in their last workshop of the season, Colors of Change, led by intimacy expert Brenden Durell. The cast looked back at their journey and reflected on who they were before they came on the show and who they'd like to be after their time came to an end.

During the segment, Demari stated that the thing that was lacking in his life was respect, which led to him hurting himself and others on numerous occasions. Remembering his mother's message that was played for him during another workshop, he said that she told him to treat women how he'd like others to treat her. This made the Too Hot To Handle season 6 winner realize that he needed to change his actions.

He addressed his partner, Bri, and told her that she made him feel like a "better person" and that he was honored to be her boyfriend. Bri also opened up about her journey during the segment and said that she didn't trust men when she entered the show.

She said that much like the rest of the cast, she had been lied to, cheated on, and heartbroken in the past and praised Charlie for helping her trust people on the show.

"After that, I felt like I was able to go for something that I wanted to, which was Demari. Even though we have had a journey, and it was crazy trusting someone with my feelings. Because I know I always act strong but I am a lover girl," Bri added.

In a confessional, Demari added that he felt he and Bri were on a "good track" going forward and that he was excited for the "real world." Bri also shared her experience in a confessional and said that she was able to "give love" and was also "able to receive love."

Watching the two win the show, fans of the dating show took to social media to celebrate their victory and their relationship.

Episodes of Too Hot To Handle are available to stream on Netflix.
