The Real Housewives of New Jersey wrapped up season 14 in an atypical manner on Sunday, August 11, 2024. The cast gathered for its Last Supper, the unusual reunion special that saw the cast members divided into two groups, and they sat down around dinner tables as they watched the final episode, and several conflicts came forward.

One of the clips saw Louie commenting on Margaret Joseph and how she and her family should "suffer." Dolores told Teresa, her husband, Louie, was going to "get a lot of sh*t" for saying that, and she replied by stating she didn't care and went home to defend him.

Fans of the Bravo show took to social media to react to the segment and criticized Teresa Giudice for defending Louie Ruis. One person wrote on X:

The Real Housewives of New Jersey season 14 — Teresa defends Louie saying he hoped Margaret's family suffered

In The Real Housewives of New Jersey season 14 episode 14, The Last Supper, the cast was shown clips of the season finale. The cast was divided into two rooms Danielle Cabral, Jennifer Fessler, Margaret Josephs, Melissa Gorga, and Rachel Fuda were in one, and Teresa Giudice, Jennifer Aydin, Dolores Catania, and Jackie Goldschneider were in another.

One of the clips they were shown was of Louie and Teresa discussing the dinner event they attended in the season finale. In the video, Louie asked Teresa what her plan was and she said, "She didn't have a plan." She added that she wasn't a strategic person." Louie told Teresa to ask Margaret to stay away from their family.

"I hope Margaret and her family suffer. You know, I hope her f*cking son, suffers," Louie said.

Watching the clip back. Margaret said she was "horrified," while Dolores told Teresa that Louie was going to be on the chopping block because of his word. The latter responded that she didn't care since her children also suffered.

"No kids getting hurt is okay," Dolores said.

The Real Housewives of New Jersey star added that it was wrong of Louie to comment on Margaret's children. Teresa asked the season 14 cast member not to "stick up" for Margaret and the latter said she could not support Louie's comments. Teresa defended her husband, stating that he was upset and made a mistake.

"People make mistakes, I know he did not mean to say that," The Real Housewives of New Jersey star added.

Chiming in on the same in the other room, Melissa said it was "one of the lowest lows" RHONJ had ever witnessed. Margaret added that it was "disgusting," and Jennifer Fessler stated she couldn't believe Louie said "that."
