"THANK GOD"— The Voice fans react to Austyns earning a Triple Steal 

The Voice season 26 aired episode 9 this week on Monday, October 28, 2024. The segment, titled Battles Part 3, saw several more contestants battle it out in hopes of making it to the Knockouts phase of the NBC show.

One such person was Austyns Stancil from Team Gwen. The singer was paired with Jose Luis as the two sang Lay Me Down by Sam Smith. Stefani called having to choose between the two a "tough decision" and picked Luis as the winner. The remaining coaches pressed their Steal Buzzer, giving Austyns another chance to stay in the game.

Fans of the NBC show reacted to the performance online as well as the singer earning a triple steal. One person wrote on X:

"I wanted you the first time"— Snoop Dogg makes a pitch to Austyns Stancil in The Voice season 26 episode 9

In The Voice season 26 episode 9, titled Battles Part 3, Austyns Stancil and Jose Luis's duet of Lay Me Down by Sam Smith earned them a round of appreciation from the coaches.

Gwen Stefani had previously explained that she paired the two singers together because she knew whoever didn't get picked would be stolen by one of the other coaches. She explained why she picked Jose Luis and said she wanted to see more of what he could do given his dynamics, motion, and range.

All three coaches, Reba McEntire, Snoop Dogg, and Michael Bublé, pressed their Steal Buzzer for Austyns Stancil. The famed rapper explained why Ausytns should join his team while on The Voice season 26 and said that he would lead the contestant "straight into soul ville."

"Lemme tell you this nephew, I wanted you the first time, but I didn't get you," he added.

The Voice season 26 coach added that he wanted him the "second time" and noted he was going to "get" Austyns. He added that Gwen Stefani gave him a "great illustration" of what the singer could be, and Snoop Dogg wanted to take him where he wanted to be.

Michael Bublé pitched himself to the singer as well and said that Austyns had brought "so much joy" to everyone present in the room. He said that he could nourish The Voice season 26 contestant's connection to the audience and could help him "get deeper and closer." He added that he wanted to help Austyns become the star he was "meant to be."

Fans of the singing reality show reacted to the coaches saving Austyns from elimination online and were glad the contestant earned a triple steal.

Episode 9 ended on a cliffhanger and Austyns' decision will be revealed on Tuesday, October 29, 2024, in episode 10 on NBC.
