He admitted they all had conversations and talked about the women not being what they expected.

"I got thrown under the bus"— Love is Blind star Nick D. opens up about his alleged controversial comment about ex-fiancée Hannah

While in conversation with Vulture on November 1, 2024, Love is Blind contestant Nick Dorka opened up about the reunion special. The realtor and reality television personality discussed the alleged comment he made about his ex-fiancée, Hannah Jiles, as she claimed he called her a "grenade."

Nick told the publication that when the cast was on their way to Mexico, all the men talked about the women's looks.

"And somehow, I got thrown under the bus," he added.

Nick stated that he was not going to air anybody's "dirty laundry" just because someone aired his. He added that he wasn't the kind of man he was portrayed as in Love is Blind season 7. Nick added that he was "pleased" to see how "genuine" and "real" he was during the social experiment.

"But people could have taken accountability for their actions," he added.

Nick clarified that he never called Hannah a grenade. He admitted to being "a little underwhelmed" and stated it was a "stressful" time. The Love is Blind season 7 participant further commented on Hannah and Marissa's claims that Stephen Richardson informed Marissa of Nick's comment. He said he "never" talked to the cast member in question while in Mexico.

Nick admitted that he might have spoken to Ramses when the cameras were not present but that it was "meant to be guy-to-guy." The Love is Blind season 7 cast member stated that Ramses told him certain things and he told Ramses something, but he was not "throwing shade" at Hannah. He said that Ramses might have said something to Marissa.

The Love is Blind season 7 participant stated that the other male cast members felt Hannah was "a little less attractive" than they imagined her to be. However, Nick stated the men were not calling anyone "ugly," including Hannah.

Hannah Jiles had also commented on the controversy while in conversation with Us Weekly on November 1, 2024. She told the publication that Marissa informed her about the "grenade comment and the rating thing." She added that it sounded like something that her ex-fiancé would say.

Hannah said she knew he wasn't physically attracted to her and made certain comments to her off-camera. The Love is Blind season 7 cast member stated she was not surprised, but it "p*ssed" her off because she was honest about Nick's looks.

Love is Blind season 7 is available to stream on Netflix where fans can see the former couple's journey unfold.
