Big Brother season 26 will return with a new episode on Wednesday, September 11, 2024. In the previous episode, Chelsie Baham outperformed the other contenders to become week 8's Head of Household (HoH). She used her power to nominate Angela and Kimo for the upcoming elimination, marking Angela as her prime target.
However, the dynamics quickly changed after the nominees were announced. The Big Brother Live Feeds, available on Paramount +, showcased that Chelsie shifted her target from Angela to Kimo. Despite being out of danger, Angela felt vulnerable and knew she had to strategize to avoid getting evicted.
After Makensy won the Power of Veto (PoV), Angela approached Chelsie with a story that prompted the HoH to change her mind again. She revealed that Leah and Quinn were allegedly allying with T'Kor, Rubina, and Kimo. Chelsie asked Makensy to use her PoV on Angela, so she could nominate Quinn and break Leah and Quinn's alliance.

Consequently, Angela was taken off the block, while Chelsie put Quinn as the replacement nominee. Big Brother fans took to X to comment on Angela's strategies, commending her for slithering her way off the block.

What caused Chelsie not to target the Big Brother cast member Angela?
Week 8 Live Feeds showcased Angela suspecting Leah and Quinn of forging an alliance with the trio, T'Kor, Rubina, and Kimo. She immediately conveyed the news to HoH Chelsie, warning her that the trio grew bigger with the addition of two new members.
"You said you wanted to get out that, break up the group of three, well it's not happening, that group grew," Angela said.
She warned Chelsie that Quinn and Leah solidified something with T'Kor and Rubina intending to keep Kimo. The Big Brother cast member confessed she had been "playing like a mom with way too much heart," and wanted to change it. She admitted it was all "a game" at the end of the day and felt she trusted the wrong people.
In a private conversation with Cam, Chelsie said she wanted to confirm Angela's story. Meanwhile, Cam noted that if the allegation was a lie, it would be Angela's smartest move. Eventually, Angela's claims about Leah and Quinn were revealed to be untrue, and a part of her gameplay.
Despite that, Chelsie decided to split up Quinn and Leah by refocusing her target on Quinn. As a result, she made Makensy use her PoV to take Angela off the block and nominated Quinn as the replacement.
With the eviction on its way, viewers curiously await to see who between Quinn and Kimo gets eliminated from the Big Brother house, and becomes the first member of the jury.
