The Voice season 26 episode 5, titled, The Blind Auditions Part 5, aired on Monday, October 14, 2024. The segment saw several singers take to the NBC stage to impress the coaches with their voices, sight unseen. One such contestant was Lauren-Michaels Seller, a 35-year-old special education teacher.

She sang Oceans (Where My Feet May Fail) by Samuel Harness. Her rendition earned her a 4-Chair-Turn as all four coaches were impressed with her blind audition. Fans were also appreciative of Lauren-Michael's performance and took to social media to praise her. One person wrote on X:

In The Voice season 26 episode 5, Lauren-Michael sang Oceans (Where My Feet May Fail) by Samuel Harness. Ahead of her performance, she opened up about her singing journey and said that her mother suffered from severe mental health issues when she was younger.

As a result, Lauren-Michael's had to go live with her father at the age of 13 but she didn't know him too well. The season 26 contestant felt lonely and she found solace in singing.

As she started to sing, coaches Michael and Gwen pressed their buzzers immediately, and Reba followed suit. Snoop Dogg also pressed his buzzer just as the performance was about to end. The coaches complimented the contestant's rendition of the song. Michael Bublé called it a beautiful and unique performance, while Gwen Stefani said Lauren-Michael's song rendition was "crazy."

Reba McEntire said The Voice season 26 contestant's performance was "magical" while Snoop Dogg noted he pressed his buzzer after seeing how happy Gwen Stefani looked when she turned around. Since all four coaches turned around, it was Lauren's choice about which team she wanted to be a part of. She picked Reba McEntire.
