Dancing With The Stars is currently running season 33, and two episodes have already aired. Although the first episode saw no eliminations, the second episode, which came out on September 24, 2024, eliminated two celebrities and their pro dance partners.
Anna Delvey and Tori Spelling were eliminated and both sat down for the September 28 episode of Spelling's misSPELLING podcast. They made fun of their time on the show, and for being the first contestants to ever be double-eliminated.
"We are like the biggest losers Dancing with the Stars has ever seen. They thought the blondes have the most fun, and they were just not about it," stated Anna on the podcast.

Anna appeared on the show with dancer Ezra Sosa and scored 35 points in two weeks combined. Tori came on the show with dancer Pasha Pashkov and scored 36 points combined. Anna is a convicted con artist who appeared on the show with an ankle monitor while Tori is a renowned actor who has been working in Hollywood since the early 1980s.
Anna believes Tori should not have been eliminated on Dancing With The Stars season 33
Tori Spelling expressed her surprise at being eliminated on the first night of elimination. Anna agreed to the sentiment and claimed she didn't expect Tori to go home either. Anna further stated that in her own case, she understands the situation because of her troubled past. She described her role on the show as being the "wild card".
Anna stated that she gave her best to the show and believed that she had improved but speculated that because of her image, she couldn't connect with the older demographic of a live television night. She expressed that her supporters were probably on the younger side which resulted in her departure.
Anna was arrested in October 2017 in New York City and charged with grand larceny in the first degree, grand larceny in the second degree, and theft of services.
She revealed her thoughts regarding how Dancing With The Stars' producers treated her. Believing she was looked at through an unfair standard and wanted her to act in a certain way, to elicit a reaction from the crowd.
"They were building me up 'It's like, Only if you smile more, only if you do XYZ, it's going to be so much better for you.' And it felt like they put so much effort in trying to get me on the show, make me feel comfortable, just to eliminate me this early," stated Anna.
Anna and Tori competed with celebrities like Danny Amendola, Joey Graziadei, Dwight Howard, Chandler Kinney, Ilona Maher, Brooks Nader, Stephen Nedoroscik, Phaedra Parks, Eric Roberts, Jenn Tran, and Reginald VelJohnson who are all competing for the Len Goodman Mirrorball Trophy on Dancing With The Stars.
When talking to Tori, Anna revealed her thoughts about fellow competitors Eric Roberts and Reginald VelJohnson. She believed both she and Tori were better than Eric and Reginald. She stated that even though "it's not that big of a deal", it was embarrassing to get eliminated before them.
She later added that Reginald "was a great person and a cultural icon, but he's not a good dancer." She also speculated that the aforementioned celebrities got votes in their favor due to their popularity and that she "signed up for a dancing competition and not a popularity competition."
Dancing With The Stars season 33 is hosted by Alfonso Ribeiro and Julianne Hough. The show will air its next episode on October 7, 2024, on ABC and Disney+.
