The Challenge: Battle of the Eras (season 40) wrapped up its two-part finale this week on Wednesday, January 8, 2025. The episode saw the show find its latest winners as three people finished first place.

While Jenny West and Rachel Robinson tied for 1st position amongst the female contestants and had to share the grand prize of $400,000, Jordan Wiseley secured a solo victory despite the Karma Points twist.

Fans of the reality show commented on Jordan's performance online and celebrated the cast member winning season 40. One person wrote on X:

Jordan wins 3 out of 4 checkpoints in The Challenge season 40 finale part 2

The Challenge season 40 aired part 2 of its finale this week on Wednesday, January 8, 2025. The segment saw Jordan Wiseley emerge as the male winner of the show and took home a total of $400,000 with a lead of 31 points.

The segment picked up from last week's overnight checkpoint which needed the contestants to count coins and sing a song. By the end of the task, Derek emerged victorious while Jordan placed 2nd. Kyland finished 3rd and Johnny Bananas placed 4th.

In the next task, Jordon finished first while Derek finished 2nd. Johnny Bananas finished 3rd and Kyland finished 4th. The Challenge season 40 cast member's third checkpoint of the episode saw Jordon emerge victorious while Bananas finished second. Derek placed 3rd and Kyland finished last.

The final standing for The Challenge season 40 male cast members was:
