The Circle released a fresh batch of episodes a week on September 25, before the finale of season 7 premieres. At the start of episode 9, eight players remained in the house who were all vying for the prize money of $100,000. The players were Jadejha, Darian, Kevin, Rachel (played by Deb), Gianna (played by Nicky and Jojo), Garret, Madelyn, and Tierra (played by Antonio).
With the decision to block a player from the game resting on the shoulders of Kevin and Gianna, Kevin suggested that they should do something unpredictable and block Darian. Both of them made a deal that Kevin would be the one to take the heat afterward, as Gianna had a bond with Jadejha, Darian's love interest. This resulted in Darian leaving the house to the shock of many.
Before leaving the house, Jadejha was warned by Darian to not trust Kevin. It prompted her to question his intention the next day when the chat opened up. Garret, Tierra, and Rachel joined in and went on to cast doubts over Kevin's intentions as the latter hadn't fulfilled a lot of his promises as well.
The Circle players were made to play #CircleAMA where one player could ask any other player a question anonymously. Again, the rest of the players threw shade at Kevin for betraying the other players.
Jadejha took the opportunity and direct a question toward Kevin anonymously about which of his alliance members he was going to target next. While Rachel revealed that she was a lifeguard in real life, a profession that Kevin claimed to be his. Rachel asked him what was the one sign of drowning that most people miss, which Kevin failed to answer correctly, raising even more suspicions.
Realizing his own mistake, Kevin couldn't help but express his fear of being pushed down the picking order, when the players would vote for each other to be the top influencer.
"The lifeguard who can't save his own life right now. Damn, I should have just said I was a waiter," stated Kevin.
Rachel makes Kevin confess that he is not a real lifeguard on The Circle season 7
After the events of #CircleAMA, Kevin realized that he needed to form an alliance as the whole house was ganging up on him. Thinking of Rachel, he decided to invite her for a private chat as they had previously bonded by talking about their personal details. Kevin proceeded to ask Rachel about their relationship and what thoughts she had regarding Kevin on The Circle.
Rachel decided to give Kevin a chance by talking to him since he had no allies at that time, which could result in Kevin doing Rachel some favors that would benefit her game.
She agreed that they did form a connection, but also clarified that she was starting to doubt what Kevin told everyone about himself. Kevin tried to maneuver the situation in his favor and asked Rachel to come clean about her own life.
In dramatic fashion, Rachel revealed to Kevin on The Circle that she possessed a lifeguard certificate and could tell that Kevin wasn't one. Kevin still had doubts regarding Rachel's claims and asked for something in return if he revealed the truth to her. Kevin folded under pressure and told Rachel that he was indeed not a lifeguard, rather he was a wine salesman.
"I actually work in the wine and alcohol industry, but the rest of Kevin is real. I felt like a lifeguard would be more respected than some guy who sells booze," texted Kevin.
Further on The Circle, when it came to Rachel, she didn't reveal to Kevin that she was in real life a 54-year-old woman named Deb and expressed that Kevin could trust her. Kevin believed her and was ecstatic at making one ally during this tough time.
Episodes 9-12 of The Circle season 7 are currently available for streaming on Netflix.
