Love is Blind Season 7 aired its reunion on Wednesday, October 30, 2024. The cast members joined hosts Nick and Vanessa Lachey a year after the show concluded to reflect on their time on the show. Many of them clashed with one another while trying to resolve past conflicts, whereas others shared updates from their lives after they left the experiment.

In addition to Season 7's cast members, the reunion featured alums from past seasons, who were an honorary addition to the audience. They were tasked with asking direct questions to the cast while passing an occasional comment here and there. Among the alums were Bliss Poureetezadi from Love is Blind Season 4, Marshall Glaze from the same season, Amber Desiree from Season 6, and more.

However, the Love is Blind fans were disappointed by their intervention. They claimed that past contestants took up air time that could have been utilized to address conflicts and arguments that unfolded in Season 7. At the same time, netizens were critical of the show's decision to have them discuss their personal lives which was irrelevant to the reunion.

Consequently, fans took to X to express disapproval of the past contestants' appearance.

"We really didn’t need past cast mates on the reunion. Their time has passed. Talk about the real tea!!!" a fan wrote.
"Leave the old couples where they supposed to be…. IN THE PAST," another fan commented.
"Ugghh. They're gonna keep wasting time by throwing to the former cast, huh?" a netizen tweeted.

Many Love is Blind fans claimed the past cast members' appearance was a "waste of time." They stated that the reunion was not the place to share their life updates.

"Can we stop bringing back old cast members. It’s a waste of time & idc about most of them," a user reacted.
"Why do they keep bringing back old cast members? We can just follow them on social media for an update. It’s like the show uses them to fill up time so they don’t have to get too deep on topics that the viewers want more answers to," a person commented.
"No cause what Netflix needs to start doing is have an Audience Q&A at the reunion instead of watching old cast members get a wombat plushie," another fan wrote.
"Look. I love Marshall and AD and all them, but 15 minutes of the reunion on past seasons' cast is ridiculous. Just do a separate special, my God," one user posted.

At the same time, some Love is Blind fans were frustrated with the content being discussed at the Season 7 reunion.

"Why tf am I watching a recap of Bliss and her husband from their season?!?! Like tf?!?!! Who are the f**king producers for this show and why did they think we wanted to see this……AGAIN?!?!" a person reacted.
"Why do the LIB producers believe that bringing back old cast members is a good idea? It takes away from what we really want to hear," a netizen commented.

Love is Blind alums talk about their lives at the Season 7 reunion

After Tyler and Ashley's segment, hosts Vanessa and Nick Lachey talked to Amber, Season 6's cast member, asking her about her life. She stated she was "great" and "thriving" and relieved to be in the audience instead of getting questioned on stage. The Love is Blind star said she was glad she was "off that rollercoaster," thanking the show for the experience.

She added she was romantically involved with a "very special someone," refusing to make things public.

Following Ramses and Marissa's discussion, Nick and Vanessa steered their attention to Bliss and Zack. The hosts congratulated them on becoming the first Love is Blind couple to welcome a baby. The couple explained the meaning behind their daughter's name, Galileo, and watched a montage of their journey on the reality show that brought them together.

Season 7's former couple Tim and Alex got into a heated conflict at the reunion, reflecting on the reason for their breakup. They accused each other of being selfish and disrespectful towards their parents. However, their argument was subdued and the hosts turned the conversation to Jessica from Season 1 and her husband, Ben.

Jessica proceeded to narrate how she met Ben before the pandemic and how their relationship blossomed, resulting in a marriage in 2022. Nick and Vanessa played the couple's wedding clip and welcomed their son, Dax on stage, to play with him.

Marshall and Nancy followed suit and updated everyone on what they did after the show concluded, describing the major milestones they achieved in the following years.

Love is Blind is available to stream on Netflix.
