Married to Medicine star Quad talks about starting a family with King

Quad Webb and her boyfriend King have shared their thoughts on starting a family together. In her interview, Quad gave insights into her health and the steps they are taking to prepare for parenthood. She revealed that she underwent a medical procedure in the previous year to remove fibroids, which has improved her chances of conceiving naturally.

"I had some fibroids removed back in April [and my] cervix looks great, so what I would like to do is just see if we can do this naturally for a portion of time," Quad explained.

The couple is hopeful about natural conception but has also explored the possibility of using in vitro fertilization (IVF) as a backup plan. The topic of children has also come up during their appearances on Married to Medicine. In season 11, episode 3, Quad and King discussed their future as parents.

Quad praised King’s qualities, expressing her belief that he would be an ideal co-parent.

"I don’t think there will be a better person more suited for me, especially to raise a child with, than you," she told him during a confession.

When Quad mentioned her hopes of having twins, he remarked, "You want to go from 0 to 100 real quick."

Announcement of Quad Webb's relationship with King in Married to Medicine

Quad Webb’s decision to keep her relationship with King private for nearly a year was based on her desire to focus on their connection without outside influences. Speaking to Us Weekly on December 22, 2024, Quad explained:

“I wanted to truly get to know him, to get to know his family, and to see if this was something that was for the long haul.”

On Married to Medicine, where cast members such as Toya Bush-Harris, Dr. Heavenly Kimes, and Dr. Jackie Walters often share personal moments, Quad introduced King only when she felt it was the right time. She shared her perspective on relationships:

“We see a lot of times, people jump into these relationships and they’re just these little micro relationships [.....] I would rather just wait for God to bring me my person.”

King’s first on-screen appearance was during Quad’s birthday celebration in season 11. Reflecting on the moment, Toya shared her observations, saying:

“When they look at each other, they look like they love each other. It’s wonderful.”

Quad, responding to questions about her decision to keep the relationship private, stated that she believed it was not something others needed to know initially.
