"They really are locked in" — Love Island USA fans react to Kordell wanting to meet Serena's family 

Love Island USA season 6 aired a brand new episode on Sunday, July 14, 2024. During the segment, the remaining couples spent more time getting to know one another and making plans for when they leave the show

For Kordell and Serena, this meant a conversation about meeting each other's parents. Kordell offered to change his flight when they left Fiji so they could spend some time together, and Serena mentioned that her family would pick her up at the airport. The male islander stated that he would like to meet her family and then mimicked Serena's father in a goofy way.

Fans of the show took to social media to react to the segment and comment on the season 6 couple's plans for when they leave Fiji. One person wrote on X:

Kordell and Serena discuss spending time together after Love Island USA season 6

In Love Island USA season 6 episode 30, the fan-favorite couple, Kordell and Serena, spent time together discussing their plans to meet each other's families once they left the show. Kordell suggested changing his flight from Fiji to Los Angeles so they could spend some time together after the show.

Serena mentioned that her family, including her mother, sister, and niece, would be there when she landed. Kordell wondered if they would be on the same flight so he could meet them in person. The female Love Island USA season 6 cast member hoped he would meet them "very soon." Kordell then joked:

"Pops, he gonna be like that ho like, "yeah, ya f*cked up buddy," he got a country accent don't he, feel like he do."

Serena said that while her father didn't have a country accent, he did have a "black church dad accent." Kordell noted that his voice must be "deep as hell," and Serena added that he was also "loud as f*ck."

Kordell further mimicked Serena's father and noted he would tell him where he went wrong in the show, but the latter interrupted and said that while Kordell was laughing, her father was "literally" the same.

The male islander laughed and said he knew because he also grew up in a church. Later, he told Serena he wondered what it would be like for her to meet his family. He noted that he was a little worried about it.

"If I'm being honest, I really feel like my sisters is gonna f*ck with you," he added.
