"This is ELITE TV"— Love Island: All Stars fans react to Harriet choosing Ron over Ronnie

Love Island: All Stars season 2 aired a new episode on Friday, January 24, 2025. The segment saw the continuation of Harriet and Ronnie's conversation after they reconnected in the villa. Ronnie confessed his feelings for her, in hopes she would still him for Elma so the two could rekindle their romance.

However, the female cast members told Harriet that Ronnie had described their relationship as a "showmance" in the past. She then confronted him before the recoupling ceremony. At the firepit, she stole Ron from Kaz and despite not being chosen, Ronnie made his intentions clear and told her that it was a chance for him to "right a lot of wrongs."

Fans of the ITV reality show commented on Harriet's firepit decision online. One person wrote on X:

Fans of Love Island: All Stars season 2 called her decision the "funniest thing":

"Harriet did the funniest thing ever by picking Ron over Ronnie," a person wrote.

Fans of Love Island: All Stars season 2 also said that Harriet's choice was "really strategic," noting that she knew what she was doing.

"I can't come in and pick my ex"— Harriet explains picking Ron over Ronnie in Love Island: All Stars season 2

Love Island: All Stars season 2 episode 12 aired on January 24, 2025. During the episode, Ronnie approached Harriet to clear the air about some of the things the other cast members had been saying. Ronnie asked his ex-girlfriend whether she told the female islanders he had asked her to be his girlfriend three times.

Harriet asked him to "calm down" and explained what happened. She told the Love Island: All Stars season 2 cast member that she wanted to keep her and Ronnie's previous conversation private but when she went downstairs, the girls were "all on" her.

She summarized her and Ronnie's conversation to them and they recalled Ronnie saying he didn't like her and that his feelings were "fake." Harried asked the Love Island: All Stars star whether he called their relationship a "showmance" and Ronnie denied the claim.

He confronted the islanders and asked them who he said it to and Ekin-Su said "Everyone." When he asked whether he said it to her, the latter replied that he hadn't said it directly but that he said it in a group. Kaz said Liv told her that when Ronnie had DM'd her on Instagram about a picture, Ronnie had said he wasn't with Harriet and called it a "showmance."

Later in the episode, the islanders received a text message, asking them to gather at the firepit as it was time for the bombshells to pick their partners. Ahead of making her decision, Harriet said that there was one person she wanted to pick and said it was a "hard decision." She stole Ron from Kaz and coupled up with him.

"I can't come in and pick my ex after it's not even been 24 hours," she explained.

Fans of the ITV reality show commented on Harriet's choice online and called it an "Elite" television moment.
