“This is a very sacred place to me” — Kris Jenner emotionally reveals her ovaries will need to be removed following tumor diagnosis

American media personality and businesswoman Kris Jenner recently revealed details about her health and said that she had undergone a medical scan. On the Thursday, July 4 episode of The Kardashians reality show, she revealed that, as per her doctor, she needed to get her ovaries removed.

During the same episode, Kris had a conversation about the impending treatment with her daughters Khloé Kardashian, Kim Kardashian, and Kendall Jenner. While doing so, she stated:

“I wanted to tell you guys something…I went to the doctor and had my scan. They found….. a cyst and a little tumor on my ovary.”

She went on to say that the doctor advised her on the surgery. She then addressed her family and said:

“I'm emotional about it because they came in handy with you guys. That’s where all my kids were conceived and that’s where they were grown, in my tummy. So this is a very sacred place to me.”

Kris then affirmatively said that if she could handle the hip replacement, she could handle this. She further stated that she doesn't feel anxious about being put to sleep. However, in her opinion, when the process begins, it would feel real.

Kris Jenner recently disclosed that she would be having surgery as the physicians discovered a tumor on her ovary. This week's episode of The Kardashians featured the 68-year-old mother sharing a frightening health update with her partner, Corey Gamble, and kids Kim, Khloé, and Kendall while on vacation in Aspen.

Kris Jenner further disclosed that she visited her doctor and underwent a scan. Following the scan, a small tumor and a cyst were discovered on her ovary. She added that after receiving the diagnosis, her ovaries would need to be removed.

Even though Kris Jenner wasn’t feeling nervous about the surgery, she shared her intense emotional feelings with her kids about having to have her ovaries removed. She said that she was emotional because "that's where all my kids were conceived."

Jenner continued:

“Listen, if I can get through the hip replacement, I can get through this. I’m not nervous to be put to sleep. I’m not nervous with Dr. A, she’s the best doctor in the world. But then you go to do it and… it’s so real.”

She further added:

"It’s also a thing about getting older. It’s a sign of 'we’re done with this part of your life.' It’s a whole chapter that’s just closed.”

Kris Jenner's family jumped to provide assistance. Kim Kardashian confessed that she was really sad for her mother. She further stated that she couldn't begin to understand what Kris was going through or how terrified she must have been about the surgery. After that, Khloé called Kourtney to inform her of the news.

Kourtney then stated that she could completely understand how her mother was feeling because she would feel the same way. She went on to say that it was Jenner's feminine strength. However, this did not imply that it was erasing her identity or her experiences.

Kendall then said that while she could understand her mother's sadness, it was time to "get them outta there" since her ovaries and the tumor were "potentially hurting her," and she wasn't using them.

Then Kim tried to lighten the situation by suggesting that the family have a "farewell ovaries party." In an additional effort to cheer Kris up and "help your energy," Jenner's long-term boyfriend Corey Gamble surprised her with a Prada coat as another sign of support.

As for Kris Jenner, she stated that she was still optimistic despite her health battle. She even made fun of crying "crocodile tears" in front of her family after getting her coat from Gamble.
