What happened in Big Brother season 26 episode 2?

Julie Chen Moonves welcomed the remaining contestants into the Big Brother house in season 26 episode 2, titled Premiere Part 2. This included Cedric Hodges, T'Kor Clottey, Matt Hardeman, Brooklyn Rivera, Lisa Weintraub, Kenney Kelley, Leah Peters, and Quinn Martin.

Much like the first group that entered the house, these eight contestants were also given the choice of voting Ainsle into the house. While six of them. Cedric, T'Kor, Marr, Brooklyn, Lisa, and Kenney said no, and Leah and Quinn voted yes.

This meant those who said yes participated in the upgrade task while the rest participated in the downgrade task. Quinn won the time-based task by completing it nine seconds faster than Leah. Meanwhile, Cedric was the slowest in the downgrade task and lost.

As for the downgrade, Cedric and Chelsie (from group 1) were told they couldn't compete for Head of the Household and Power of Veto in the first week. Their voting rights in the first live eviction were also taken away. However, they were still eligible to be nominated and evicted from the Big Brother season 26 house.

As for Makensy (group 1) and Quinn, one of them will be the "deepfake HoH" and one will receive America's Veto.

Season 26 Live Feeds are now available to be streamed. Fans can watch the same on Paramount+ and Pluto TV but will be unable to access the archives and rewind the footage.

The two-part premiere is available to stream on CBS TV and Paramount+.
