Below Deck Sailing Yacht season 5 released episode 3, Let The Bottles Hit The Floor, on Monday, October 21, 2024. It saw Chef Cloyce getting carried away while helping the crew set up floats in the water for the charter guests to enjoy. While Chef Cloyce enjoyed aiding the crew on deck, Captain Glenn worried about the guests' meals getting done in time.

Earlier in the episode, Chef Cloyce argued with the other crewmates, unwilling to pay for everyone's drinks. He said he had to save money for other important tasks. The cast members were surprised by his behavior because they knew the Chef had the highest-paying role on deck.

Chef Cloyce was pleased when his colleagues allowed him to help them set up the Floatopia party. He admitted he wanted to utilize the opportunity to reconcile with them. However, he became too preoccupied with the floats and engaging with the guests, neglecting his duty to prepare lunch on time.

Below Deck Sailing Yacht fans took to X to criticize Chef Cloyce's unprofessionalism.

"I've never seen a chef leave the galley to hang out with guests," another fan wrote.

Captain Glenn gets angry with Chef Cloyce in episode 3 of Below Deck Sailing Yacht season 5

While Chef Cloyce was in the kitchen, the crew members began assembling and inflating the floats for the guests' Floatopia party. Captain Glenn informed Chef Cloyce that lunch must be served at 4 pm sharp because they had to wrap up and leave the party by 5 pm.

Soon, Chef Cloyce volunteered to help the crew members set up the floats, claiming he had enough time to prepare the guests' meals. While speaking to the cameras, the Below Deck Sailing Yacht cast member said:

"I am not only stoked to be able to offer my assistance to the deck team but after quite a few days of hard work getting some of that fresh Spanish sunshine is quite lovely."

After some time, when the guests got comfortable at the party, Gary informed Chef Cloyce that he needed to take him back, to which, the Chef responded, "Not necessarily." The Below Deck Sailing Yacht cast member reassured Gary that he did not need to prep for the upcoming meal.

Gary was worried Chef Cloyce would be late and emphasized that his duty was in the kitchen. With 1 hour and 20 minutes remaining before lunch, Captain Glenn feared they would not have anything to serve the guests.

When stewardess Diane saw Chef Cloyce serve Chardonnay to the guests, she said:

"Bro, like, I'm trying to do my job, and you're trying to actually steal my job. It's his job to be in the galley. Ugh. Just annoying."

Captain Glenn got furious when he visited the kitchen and saw nothing prepped. His frustration peaked when he discovered the Chef had been in the water since set-up. While speaking to the cameras, the Below Deck Sailing Yacht star stated Chef Cloyce had to realize he was not a guest on the yacht.

Below Deck Sailing Yacht airs every Monday at 9 pm ET only on Bravo.
