The Real Housewives of Orange County season 18 has reached close to its reunion episode, with episode 14 of the season released on October 10. The episode, titled High Tea & High Tension, documented the RHOC ladies on their trip to England on the occasion of Shannon's birthday.
The ladies seemed excited to have arrived in London and even more excited to see the hotel rooms they were staying in. When they settled down at the hotel, they received a bucket hat with a UK flag on it and scarves from Burberry.
Shannon said she wanted to give them a speciality from England which was why she chose those things.
The recipient ladies of The Real Housewives of Orange County took to a confessional to say that the gift was too expensive to give out, especially for someone who was facing a $75,000 lawsuit.

Fans of the show came to X to criticize the ladies who spoke about the gifts in poor taste.
"Heather goes on a trip that Shannon has paid for, mocks her free gift bag & then humiliates her in front of a table full of costars, clearly defending Alexis who has questionable motives. Heather’s dark side has returned. Gross. Not a fan. I thought she grew up," said one fan.
"Tamra & Heather are confessional thugs, Y'all complaining about the gifts but still TOOK THEM smh," said another fan.
"Then don’t accept the gift Tamara #rhoc you’re 'exhausting'" a third fan added.
Some fans of The Real Housewives of Orange County also criticized the ladies for saying it was easy for Shannon to give out expensive gifts but didn't have the money that she owed John.
"Everybody in confessionals saying Shannon shouldn’t have purchased them expensive gifts with the lawsuit pending but I didn’t see not one lady decline the gift bags in the moment!" an X user wrote.
"Shannon offered to pay DirtyJohn his 75k so not sure why Tamara is saying Shannon just needs to pay him instead of buying her a gift," another one wrote.
"Shannon gives Tamra a gift and all she can do is talk about Shannon can't afford it, call Shannon a liar, and basically b*tch and moan about everything else. If only the London Bridge would fall on her.....," a third one said.
"So now they're mad at Shannon for bringing gifts. She just can't catch a break," another fan said.
The ladies trip to England on episode 14 of The Real Housewives of Orange County
The Real Housewives of Orange County season 18 episode 14 saw the cast members arriving in London. After they settled down in their lux apartments and received gifts from Shannon, they headed out for a cruise tour on the river Thames, followed by a dinner afterwards.
At the dinner, the ladies talked about the mammograms they took back in the US. Heather was mad that no one asked her about her appointment. When they asked, she revealed that her mammogram said that she stood at a 40% risk.
While there, the ladies also confronted Shannon about her confession on the Jeff Lewis Podcast. In the July 10 episode of the podcast, Shannon admitted to having loaned the $75,000 from her ex-John Janssen, which, up until then, she said was a gift from him. She also came around to tell them that there was a promissory note too.
