Summer House star Lindsay Hubbard recently shared an important update with her fans. The Bravo celebrity, who has been a part of the reality show since 2017, took to Instagram on July 4, 2024, to announce that she and her mystery boyfriend are expecting their first child together.
In her post, Hubbard wrote:
"Trigger Warning: This post contains more fireworks than the 4th of July! WE’RE PREGNANT!!!!! I truly believe the universe has a bigger plan and this is it!"
Summer House fans took to social media to react to the announcement and congratulated the mother-to-be. One person wrote on X:
"PS I’m just genuinely so happy for Lindsay or any woman who really wants a child and becomes pregnant!!! Especially when they’re almost 38 years old and the odds didn’t seem in their favor. Just absolutely THRILLED for her and idc about your opinion if ur not #SummerHouse"
"Just casually sitting in bed at 4 am sobbing my eyes out because Lindsay Hubbard from @BravoTV #SummerHouse is pregnant. Not only did she dodge the bullet that was marrying Carl, but she now also has her baby dreams coming true," a fan commented.
"Absolutely love that Lindsay is pregnant. I think she will be a wonderful mother. I don't care about the guy. I always thought she should've just gone straight to the sperm donor and moved on with her life. These men cannot handle her strength #SummerHouse," a viewer mentioned.
Chiming on Lindsay's pregnancy announcement being a brand collaboration, Summer House fans said:
"Lindsay immediately becoming pregnant by her “boyfriend” and then getting brand sponsorship for the announcement is so gross. Everything she does is desperate and disingenuous. #SummerHouse," a person wrote.
"Lindsay Hubbard using her pregnancy announcement as sponcon is bravo history. She is a master of the art of bullsh*t. #SummerHouse," a viewer commented.
"I find it weird that people are mad at Lindsay announcing her pregnancy in an Instagram post. Like, why not partner with clear blue and get the bag for your future child. What’s wrong with that? Some of you Bravo fans are weird. #summerhouse," a fan mentioned.
Summer House fans further wondered if Carl Radke was the father:
"WOAH — IS IT CARL's BABY????" a person commented.
"Who's the daddy though...let's get a paternity test #summerhouse," a fan wrote.
"Beyond excited to welcome our little Hubb Cub" — Summer House star Lindsay Hubbard writes in her Instagram post
On July 4, 2024, Summer House star Lindsay Hubbard announced her first-ever pregnancy on Instagram in a collaboration post with Clear Blue. She wrote:
"The second I had a feeling, I took a @clearblue Early Digital Pregnancy Test and getting a clear result, in words, made the next steps sooo much easier. My boyfriend and I are beyond excited to welcome our little #HubbCub this Holiday season 2024!! 🦁🎁 #ClearbluePartner #ClearblueConfirmed"
While not a lot is known about the 37-year-old Bravo celebrity's boyfriend, she opened up on how she met him during the Summer House season 8 reunion special. At the time, she revealed that they went on a few dates with him three and a half years ago.
Lindsay added that it wasn't the right time for them back then but he resurfaced in December 2023 and they started dating in January the next year. Previously, the reality star was engaged to co-star Carl Radke, who proposed to her during season 7. They ended their engagement in August 2023, which was featured in Summer House season 8's finale episode.
After Lindsay's pregnancy news broke, fans took to social media to congratulate her but were conflicted by the announcement being a brand collaboration. They further chimed in on the timeline of the pregnancy, wondering whether Carl Radke was the father.
All episodes of Summer House are available to stream on Peacock.
