Episode 14 of The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City Season 5, titled La VIDA Loca, aired on December 18 and showcased the ladies' trip to Mexico. Britani felt upset when the group seemed indifferent to her story about reconnecting with her daughter after six months.
Meanwhile, on the same yacht, Bronwyn revealed her husband Todd’s infidelity, discovered by their daughter Gwen through his phone. Todd admitted his flaw of always seeking "better things" but reassured Bronwyn with a diamond ring and five new vows.

Her confession sparked a series of empathetic reactions, but Lisa and Meredith tried to look for a flaw in Bronwyn, for Todd to have done such a thing. Fans of The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City came to X to react to the revelation and to how Lisa and Meredith reacted to it.
"The fact Todd refused to come to Bronwyn’s side after she was mauled by a dog says everything I need to know about his priorities. Combine that with Todd CHEATING on Bronwyn?? Throw the man out!" said one fan.

After Bronwyn revealed Todd's cheating scandal on The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City she teared up saying she feels like she wasn't good enough for anyone when the housewives don't treat her right. Meredith asked her if she ever thought Todd wasn't so invested in her because she had her guard up against him, to which Bronwyn said no.
Later in the episode, when Bronwyn, Angie, Heather, and Whitney sat together, they agreed to the fact that Lisa and Meredith weren't as sensitive to the revelation as they should've been. Whitney stated that they were siding with the cheater because it hit home. Heather agreed and added that they were both accused of infidelity.
