The Ultimatum: Marry or Move On season 3's last batch of episodes 9 and 10 were released exclusively on Netflix on December 18, 2024. In this reality series, 6 couples part ways to get into a trial marriage with their fellow cast members. One of the cast members paired for the trial period was Sandy and J.R. They both built a strong connection and bonded emotionally with each other.

Subsequently, in the latest episodes, the contestants decide whether to leave the show with their original partner, trial partner, or single. During The Ultimatum: Marry or Move On season 3 episode 9, J.R. and Sandy meet up before making the final decision. During their conversation, Sandy reflected on her journey revealing she and J.R. were better off as friends. She stated the purpose of this experiment:

"This whole experience in a way is a test to really see what your truth is. You just have to live your truth."

On The Ultimatum: Marry or Move On season 3 episode 9, Sandy reflected on her overall journey and going through the trial marriage with J.R. She shared that this experience taught her many lessons and gave her clarity on what she wants from her partner. J.R. agreed with Sandy's statement, he felt being on the show answered his questions regarding marriage and helped him make a final decision.

Sandy appreciated J.R. as well as herself for going into the experiment with true intentions and giving their hundred percent. The Ultimatum: Marry or Move On cast member said:

"I feel like I got way more than what I was looking for. It's wild. Everything happens for a reason and everything happens the way it's supposed to. we took a big risk, we didn't play it safe. we both really gave it our all and it's given all of us clarity, on what we came here for."

J.R. emphasized that putting yourself before everybody else was an important takeaway from this experiment. Sandy chimed in, stating:

"You can't please everybody."

Reflecting on her time with J.R., Sandy was thankful for the emotional connection she made with him. Despite the two not leaving the experiment together, Sandy shared her hopes of being friends with J.R. once the filming is wrapped up. She also said if he and Zaina were to get engaged, she would be happy for the both of them and would always root for their happiness.

The Ultimatum: Marry or Move On cast member elaborated that she was confident in her decision. She continued:

"Obviously it's a tricky place to be in because there's a lot of, there's outside factors. But I think we've obviously developed a really close connection. But we're not leaving here together, necessarily."

Their conversation ended with them wishing the best for each other's future. The newly released episodes of The Ultimatum: Marry or Move On season 3 are available to stream on Netflix.
