Survivor season 47 aired episode 13 this week on Wednesday, December 11, 2024. The Finale part 1 saw the cast compete in another immunity task. As a winner, Genevieve was safe during the latest tribal council. Since the task was also a reward challenge, the castaway was rewarded a steak meal at the sanctuary.

Meanwhile, the others discussed their gameplay and strategy, and Rachel emerged as a target. However, the cast member had an immunity idol and the "block a vote" advantage, and she used both. Since the votes against Rachel were no longer counted, Andy was eliminated with two votes against him.

Ahead of the tribal council, Andy was unaware that Rachel had an immunity idol and told her he would vote against her. Fans of the reality show commented online on Rachel playing her immunity idol and Andy being eliminated.

"MY JAW IS DROPPED!!! Andy flipped, got the target off him, talked too much, became Rachel's new target, she saved herself when no one except Sue knew she had an idol, and now HE WENT HOME!? this is a TOP TIER SEASON!'' one person wrote on X.
"Love Andy but that karma spied right back on his a** BADDDD," a fan commented.
"Day 3: Andy comes to Rachel, pours out his heart with his anxiety. She rebuffs him, putting him on the bottom. Day 23: Andy comes to Rachel, pours out his heart to gain favor with the jury. She idols him out of the game. RIP to one of the most complicated dynamics of #Survivor47," a tweet read.

Fans of Survivor season 47 called Andy a "polarizing character."

"Andy had a rollercoaster of a season and he took us along with him. A polarizing character but love him or hate him he gave us something to talk about every week. For a F6 boot to drive the discourse from the start is a testament to his entertainment value," a person wrote.
"Andy really asked that lady for a jury vote and said goodbye. He is so unserious and unaware in this game," a fan commented.
"andy repeatedly tried to make “big moves” while blabbing and flip flopping so much at the same time that he scr*wed himself tbh, good on rachel for keeping her idol secret so hidden," a tweet read.

Fans of Survivor season 47 further said:

"Andy pulled off the craziest move in recent survivor memory and talks himself out the game less than 24 hours later. This season is cinema man," a person wrote.
"Andy is voted out, but handles it with total class. Even his confessional afterwards is well done. He didn't win, but I'm guessing he surprised and impressed more of us than most of the others (but not all of the others!)" a fan commented.

"It's best for me to vote you out tonight"— Andy talks to Rachel about the upcoming tribal council in Survivor season 40 episode 13

In Survivor season 40 episode 13, Andy and Rachel had a conversation ahead of the tribal council. He told the latter that he was weighing his options about who to vote out to secure his position in the game.

"But it's best for me to vote you out tonight," he said.

The Survivor season 47 cast member also discussed the previous vote out and his voting for Caroline instead of Genevieve. He said he had more information about the same and said that was "influencing" his decisions. He asked her to keep an open mind about his decision and she asked if he meant "jury-wise?"

"Yeah, you'll be on the jury," he told Rachel.

At the tribal council, before the votes were revealed, Rachel played her immunity idol and saved herself. She also told the group that Andy "flipped" in the previous tribal council, which resulted in Caroline's elimination from Survivor season 47.

Fans of the reality show reacted to Andy's elimination online. While they praised his gameplay, he credited his conversation with Rachel for his elimination.

Survivor season 47 airs new episodes weekly on Wednesdays on CBS.
