Season 9 of The Real Housewives of Potomac released its episode 16 on January 26. The episode focused on Keiarna and Greg working through their issues and Karen walking out of Stacey's event because she felt betrayed by the cast member. Another episode highlight was Inc expressing his frustrations over Mia's repetitive mentions of Gordon— her ex-husband.

Later in the episode, in a sit down with Stacey, Mia blamed Gordon's mental health, after he allegedly shared their personal family matters with Karen. The scene flashed back to snippets of Mia accusing Gordon of telling Karen about his doubts about his son's paternity.

Mia said Gordon was "spiraling," and explained that once he got triggered it was hard for him to stop and he would just keep going. What happened last week, she said, was an example of what happens to Gordon when he is spiraling. She added that while she was mad at Gordon for sharing their family matters with other people, she understood that it was because he had this mental condition.

Fans of The Real Housewives of Potomac took to X to criticize Mia for bringing up Gordon's mental health time and again.

"Mia needs to kindly shut the f*ck up. She is using her children for a storyline and also she’s using Gordon’s mental health against him as her storyline. BUT Gordon saying he got a paternity test done is crossing the line?! Trash box," a fan said.

"There goes Mia again, setting up this Gordon is insane and unpredictable bs. And it's always on camera. She is setting that man up. What a piece of sh*t. Wonder if Mia would go so far as to drug Gordon & then try to make him & the world think he's crazy," said another.
"I’m sick of Mia acting like Gordon is manic," wrote one.
"I'm sooooooo sick & tired of hearing Mia using Gordon Health as a storyline. Girl you a full-blown liar," another wrote.

Some fans of The Real Housewives of Potomac thought Mia was blaming her own mistakes on Gordon's mental health.

"Every time Gordon gets the best of Mia she says he’s “spiraling” or having an “episode”" an X user wrote.
"Here she goes. Of course she’s blaming this on Gordon spiraling or going through an episode. Just once I’d like her to talk about Gordon without mentioning his mental health concerns," another user wrote.
"Mia…..Gordon is always spiraling every second of every minute of every day of every episode but yet he keeps the kids. Girl, SHUT UP," commented one.
"Mia stop with this “Gordon’s condition” thing. Even if it is true, he needs help not constant dragging," another wrote.

Why Inc was frustrated with Mia's mention of Gordon on The Real Housewives of Potomac season 9 episode 16

When Mia met up WIth Inc in episode 16 of The Real Housewives of Potomac, he told her how Gordon had texted him about the paternity test. Mia said he took the test by himself, which Inc refused to believe. Mia clarified that she had the results and Jeremiah— the son she shared with Gordon— was 99.9% Gordon's. She said she didn't like how Gordon went behind her back to get the test done.

Inc said he was going to call Gordon, which sparked Mia's interest as she rhetorically asked if he really wanted to call him. Inc was put off because he thought Mia was making Gordon a priority every time they had to make a decision.

"For the past year, you all have been operating without boundaries, taking a toll on us," Inc said.

Mia then came onto a The Real Housewives of Potomac confessional and said that while Inc wanted her to cut ties with Gordon, he needed to understand that Gordon was her kids' father.

New episodes of The Real Housewives of Potomac season 9 come out on Mondays, at 8 pm ET, on Bravo.
