“Unbearable”—Love Island: All Stars fans criticize Ekin Su for mediating in Harriet and Ronnie’s relationship

Episode 13 of Love Island: All Stars season 2 was released on January 27, 2025. The latest episode saw a tiff between Ronnie and Harriet, the newly recoupled participants after Ekin Su told Ronnie about Harriet's views on their relationship. This sparked a confrontation between the two and they went to Ekin Su for clarification because according to Harriet, she didn't mean it the way Ekin conveyed it to him.

Everything started when Harriet told Cathy and Grace that it wasn't fair that Ronnie was getting mad at her for talking to other boys. She added that he got a chance to kiss two girls on the show before she entered as a bombshell, so it was only fair for her to explore more connections. The girls agreed with her.

Later in the episode of Love Island: All Stars, Harriet told Ekin Su that she didn't love Ronnie like he did because of their history from the previous episode. Ekin took to a confessional to state that she was going to tell Ronnie about her chat with Harriet because he was her friend and she wanted to protect him.

After Ekin confronted Ronnie, he became upset especially because he was already not happy with Harriet's intent of talking to other men in the villa. When the duo confronted Ekin Su together, she said Harriet didn't say she didn't "love him anymore" but that she didn't "love him now" because of what happened in the past.

Fans of Love Island: All Stars flocked to X and criticized Ekin for mediating between the two and spreading misconceptions in their relationship, thus stirring the pot.

"Ekin Su thinks she the boss of the villa. I can’t stand her. The more tv shows she goes on the more unbearable she becomes," a fan said.

"I really don’t understand how people love Ekin this much because she has always not been a nice person. Tonight she just was upset that Ronnie and Harriet seemed to be in a good place and can take her 50K so she did the unnecessary," said another fan.

"Ekin Su earning her title for 'B*tchiest' in the Villa "Babe, What happened?" um.. Ekin Su is what happened. She knows exactly what she's doing," added a third.

"Ekin is sabotaging the couples and I don't like it. Hariett is obviously just protecting herself. It's very rude," another wrote.

Fans of Love Island: All Stars called Ekin Su out for mediating in other's business.

"Why did Ekin tell Ronnie that?? She’s far too involved in people’s relationships. It’s like she wants to win again," an X user wrote.

Ronnie confronts Harriet after his chat with Ekin Su on Love Island: All Stars season 2 episode 13

An upset Ronnie confronted Harriet in Love Island: All Stars episode 13. He mentioned that Ekin had told him that Harriet didn't love him. Harriet replied that she didn't mean it in that way, and suggested they go see Ekin for clarification.

Ekin told the two:

"You [Harriet] said I'm not in love with him now, but you said there's different love for him."

Harriet argued that it wasn't a bad thing and Ekin sided with her. Ekin said that Harriet didn't mean she hated him, she just meant she didn't love him like he did and had her guard up because of what happened in the past.

Ekin further clarified that Harriet loved him but she was also open to exploring connections with other guys. Ronnie objected to this because he thought Harriet should've told him first instead of saying it to the fellow female cast members.

Apart from Harriet and Ronnie's fight, the Love Island: All Stars episode also saw Scott and Luca ending their long animosity and hugging it out. Luca teared up as Scott apologized for bringing out the bad in him. Moreover, Scott and Tina's connection got stronger after the former admitted that he wanted to get to know Tina better and said he would seek her out in the outside world even if he'd get eliminated.
