The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Bozoma Saint John lost her home in the L.A. wildfire. She shared the tragic news on Instagram on January 9, 2025, revealing that her house, like thousands of others, was destroyed.
The post talked about the sentimental value the house held for her and how she was dealing with its loss. She wrote:
"This is an unimaginable loss. I grieve with the rest of Los Angeles as it burns … and even though I’ve found even words to write here, there’s nothing that I could say in this moment to describe this feeling."
Many of Bozoma's friends, including stars such as Andy Cohen and Sophie Bush, came in to offer their condolences in the comment section.
Bozoma joined season 14 of the show, which premiered in November, quickly gaining popularity for boldly representing people of color in L.A. She lived in the now-destroyed home with her 15-year-old daughter, Lael, as mentioned in her post.

In her Instagram post, 47-year-old Bozoma Saint John expressed the deep meaning of her lost home, calling it the house she had "prayed for" and worked hard to acquire. She shared that she installed a keypad lock so friends and family could access the house anytime with a code.
The post had pictures and videos of the house before and after the catastrophic incident. The seaside house which once looked quaint was now left in rubbles. In the caption to the post, The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Bozoma also shared the struggles she faced while buying the house, saying:
"This is the house where I found peace after battling with racist neighbors and a community that made me have to buy it in a trust within a trust so no one would know that a widowed, single Black woman with a teenager was buying on the exclusively-held beach."
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star further called the house an "EFF YOU I'm here house" and added that she also dedicated a movie room in the house to her sister because she wanted her to watch movies in her "own sanctuary". She said that it was the house where she could finally do whatever she wanted.
