In The Real Housewives of Potomac season 9 episode 1, while at a Hat Party, Mia's relationship with Inc. and co-parenting with Gordon were questioned. When the group joked about whether Mia shared Inc. with Jacqueline yet, the latter called her ex-marriage "a business partnership."

Karen commented on the situation and said she believed they were more than business partners and had children together. She recalled Gordon, Mia's ex-husband, saying that their children had seen Mia in bed with Inc., her boyfriend.

In The Real Housewives of Potomac (RHOP) season 9 episode 1, titled, A Crash Course in Deflection, the group joked about Mia sharing Inc. with Jacqueline. The latter supported Mia's relationship with Inc. and called her now-dissolved marriage with Gordon a "business partnership."

The statement confused Karen Huger and Gizelle Bryant. Karen stated she felt a "certain way about G" and brought up his comment about the kids seeing Mia and Inc. in bed together. She said that the children being "plastered" in the news after Gordon's revelations bothered her.
